Clean room, nice bathroom, comfortable beds, great service. A distance from Convention Center, but great shuttle service. Staff was excellent. View was nice. Lots of restaurants in Little Italy. Convenience stores close by.

Stayed at Porto Vista hotel on 8/5 to 8/7 2015. Enjoyed the stay. The only negative comment is the rooms are awfully small. The hotel is fairly old but you can see their attempts at updating it. They have a nice bar on the 4th floor with a killer view of the city. One block away from little italy. The...

This was a great hotel with friendly and accommodating staff that were willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is located in a beautiful location in little Italy and they provide shuttle to the convention center and airport.

During my stay for the convention, the Porto Vista staff was prompt, friendly, and very professional. A small, quiet hotel experience in a favorable setting of Little Italy. A lot to do around the hotel. Enjoyed my stay thoroughly and have no reservations recommending the hotel.

Rob who was at the front desk was so amazing and super helpful. He had a huge smile the whole time he checked us in. He recommended restaurants which we went to and they all had amazing food. It's always nice to check in and have someone greet you with a smile and be kind.

From moment we called for shuttle pick up at the airport, the employees could not do enough to accommodate our needs. Jose, the valet called us to say the driver was stuck in traffic and would be a few minutes longer. Fatimah who helped us with our reservation rearranged our rooms to be near each other, then called to see...

We stayed at the Porto Vista for a short stay in San Diego. Great location with extremely friendly front desk staff. However, a few downsides: 1) old, dated hotel. 2) Hotel room had a toxic smell; not sure it's their cleaning agents but powerful stuff. 3) Mediocre brunch included.

Revedream, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. I am sorry we did not meet your expectations. We understand the importance of staying current for our guess. Although it is not noticeable as a guest because it is a quiet process, we are currently in the second phase of our property enhancement. Half of our...

We stayed at Porto Vista in June 2014 and they were really helpful especially Jose. The place was clean and in walking distance to Little Italy and plenty places to eat. We really enjoyed our short stay at the hotel.
