Recently spent 3 nights in the modern, well appointed ANDAZ located in the Gaslamp area of San Diego. First impressions were made by reception area hosts Riley and Dan. Extremely friendly and helpful. Along with Marie they manned the reception area daily and were most helpful in assisting. I had downloaded UBER and was having problems. All three provided help...

"Hip" hotel in the gas lamp. Rooms are small for 1, would be tiny for 2. Gray rooms looking out and up into a 4 story shaft. Did not know the sun was shining! Hallway noise at 2 in the morning will wake you up. Housekeeping was a no-show. No fresh towels unless you specifically ask. Shower dripped 24/7 despite...

Stayed here from 3/10 - 3/12 to break up our flight from CMH to HNL. It was a nice treat to not have a 12+ hour flight with layovers in between. The hotel is centrally located in the Gaslamp if you want to be where all of the action is. If you are looking for a hotel with a view,...

Excellent but loud in the early morning. Great service and food and gym and location. The pool and pool bar was so much fun. Just too loud in the morning. I don't think it was from construction. I loved the coffee in the lobby!

Hotel is very nice as are staff. But if you are on the street side don't expect to have much sleep. Location is good as many bars in the area. Problem is when they let out for the night combined with early morning traffic. Bang for the buck is not there.

Staff was very helpful. Our first time to stay at This hotel and were very impressed. Rooftop pool and Resteraunt were top notch. Located in Gaslamp area with easy walk to Resteraunt and bars. Would definitely stay again when in San Diego
