About a 10 minute drive from the airport (but you cannot hear the planes) and a 15 minute drive to downtown San Diego. If you can find on street parking it is free. Otherwise the hotel has a underground garage (be-careful of your vehicle height) for $20 per night. You can walk out the 'back' door of the hotel and...

We stayed one night before an early flight. Our room was very nice and clean, plus clean smelling - no cover up of smoke. Free parking and an airport shuttle. Staff, including shuttle drivers were welcoming and friendly. A nice courtyard for a sunny day. Unfortunately we arrived at dusk.

Nancy E - Happy belated Birthday! Thank you for choosing to celebrate the big day at our beautiful location. We're delighted to see that you enjoyed the complimentary breakfast during your stay, we happen to think it's pretty great too. The location of the hotel can't be beat - just a quick drive to SeaWorld, Little Italy, Downtown and Mission...

Location is a few blocks to Old Town. We didn't have a car, and used Lyft to get around. Many nearby restaurants. Hotel employees are friendly and helpful. Room was clean, worth the money. Would stay there again.

Steveb78 - Thank you for recognizing the amazing job that our hotel team does in making all of our guest feel welcome and at home. We certainly are appealing to those that are budget conscience and looking for something that is easier on the pocket book. Having the complimentary breakfast certainly helps with cost savings as well. We can't wait...

I really don't know where to start as I have stayed here before and loved it! This time has been a disaster! The courtesy van only runs on a limited schedule to the airport which the front desk does not want to tell you about! The van will be there soon! I waited over 2 hours for it. I was...

knittinggrandma - I am so sorry that you did not enjoy this recent stay compared to your last. Our complimentary shuttle does runs from 5am - 12pm, and then picks up again and runs from 3pm - 9pm. The $20 hold you saw was just to cover any incidental charges that you might have during your stay, typically this would...

Needed a place near public transport and near airport, this worked fine. Pros include a free airport shuttle (reserve at front desk), breakfast buffet, and my corner room had a huge balcony. Cons, the hotel was a little run down, there is no bar or restaurant in the hotel, and my room was a little loud because of street and...

San Diego was a pretty booked placed when I needed to book a room, but I was happy to find this place. The hotel is conveniently located, but overall it was just an ok place. The hotel is dated and needs a refresh. It was clean though. The bathroom door didn't shut properly, but as a bonus the lights are...

Same standard as other Failrfield Inn hotels except no all day coffee or hot drinks at the lobby. Room size is decent for one or two persons. You don't have to park at their garage. You can park on the street if you can find a spot. I did not have any problems for my four nights stay.

MarylandHomeBuyer - Happy to see that you enjoyed your four night stay with us. Although we no long provide hot beverages during the day, we are always willing to get more coffee for your guest room. With Keurigs in every room we find that most guests enjoy making a fresh cup of coffee, when is most convenient for them. Thank...

I was here on a business trip training class held at this hotel for 4 days. I DID NOT STAY in a room here. Since I collected points for a different hotel I stayed within walking distance, but I did spend significant time in this hotel. We held a training class in the meeting room and ate lunch here every...
