Looks like a condemned hotel from outside. No upgrades in 30 Years. Noisy parties all night. Seems like drug dealers living there. Do not stay here. Room was ok if your not afraid to walk into the building. Much better hotels everywhere else Don’t go
This is located a block away from the beach and you can walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach and it's perfect. It is nice and clean and Jim and Alpha will take very good care of you as they couldn't be more helpful. Go on the roof patio to watch the sun rise and set and to see the seagulls and feel the sea breeze. It's simple and nice and perfect if you like to venture out and come back to a comfy bed and a nice shower.
Cold, miserable and smells like piss. Worst than spending the night in prison. The most horrible place I’ve ever stayed in. Small, smelly rooms with paper thin walls. No water pressure in showers. Phone not working. Refrigerator leaks, smells and makes horrible sounds the entire night. No blanket on the bed - freezing cold at night. Check in took 45 minutes bc concierge doesn’t know how to work on computer. Horrible horrible horrible experience. Please do yourself a favor, pay few extra bucks and go someplace else!
This is such a nice hotel with a very friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are very nice and clean. I go every year to escape the heat and enjoy the ocean and most of all have fun. PB Surf Beachside Inn is less than a block away from the ocean and in walking distance of many good restaurants. Try this nice hotel and have a blast on the boardwalk and in the ocean!
I made a reservation at the PB Surf Beachside Inn as part of a toad trip with mother who was visiting from out of state. Here are the highlights of my stay there: 1. The bathroom had not been cleaned. The towels were hung on the rack but had not been folded, and were damp to the touch. 2. There was a wad of chewing gum on the bathroom floor. 3. The furnishings were worn and dingy, and there was a stain on the carpet. 4. No alarm clock, no remote, no desk chair. 5. The desk staff was largely unresponsive to my concerns. I was told by the front desk clerk that the health and safety of the guests was not her job So I cancelled my reservation after one night and went somewhere else. But wait ,there's more! My mom accidentally left a dress and jacket in the closet. When I called and asked the front desk clerk to please check in the room to see if the items were there, she told me that housekeeping was gone for the day, that she didn't have access to the lost and found room, that I could come to the lobby and call the cops to reclaim the items. Another desk clerk retrieved the jacket and dress, and I was able to pick up the items without further incident. The whole experience was unnecessarily stressful and left me shaking my head in amazement; who does this?…
