Often when staying at a hotel/motel for the first time, its more about expectations. I got a very good weekend rate, so I assumed there were factors which caused the low rate. I am familiar with San Diego, so I knew the area was accessible to getting around most of San Diego. All the staff members were very kind, and...

Conveniently located off the highway with easy access. Its a budget motel w/no frills you get what you paid for a place to sleep. Does have a few drawbacks but seem to be for security as you check and out of a gate system with only one way in or out does lack an elevator at one end but again its...

My mother, my two kids (7 & 9yrs), and I took a very relaxed, quick trip to San Diego from Phoenix, Az. We arrived at Premier Inns a little after 11am on Saturday. The hotel is located near the freeway and near a lot of other hotels. Even with gps, I got lost the first time trying to find the...

It's a budget locale - but the rooms are clean and once inside aren't any different than a Comfort Inn or other type of room. They have done quite a bit to ensure security with gates and keys and such. Stayed 2 nights everything was peaceful and quiet - there is a Comfort Inn right across the street that charges...

This was our very first experience in a super budget hotel. Beds were hard as rocks, pillows not that great. If you want a no frills experience with safe parking (you use your key card to get in and out of the parking lot) then I would say stay here. They don't provide free wifi or breakfast but your room...

Stayed one night after a visit to sea world before going home. Hotel is a little older but the room was very clean and well worth the affordable rate. The entire staff was very friendly as well. The location is also pretty close to old town SD.

We decided to visit San Diego on a whim and this was one of the hotels that had last minute rooms available in our budget (only 2 rooms were available when we booked!). The room is cozy and comfortable and comes with an AC, a fridge, a TV and a coffee maker. The bathroom is clean and has running hot...

During attempts to book a room, during a not too popular season, the phone help desk was extremely rude. You would think they would want business when it's low but I can't imagine how they treat customers during high season. Go with Dolphin Hotel for the same price and excellent customer service instead.

San Diego can be expensive, especially in the summer time. As a land-locked dive instructor leading groups to San Diego's wreck alley, I look for good value. However, I am not willing to stay in a dump. In the summer time as the population of Southern California swells on the weekends, just finding a room can be a challenge. Finding...
