I live nearby but stayed here for a friend's 40th birthday celebration. We were looking for a relaxing, luxury resort experience.upon check-in, we couldn't get the key to work. Fortunately, a housekeeper was in the unit next door and graciously let us in. The room was updated and the furnishings were okay but it smelled musty. The bathroom needed work...

fun place for families. Cleaning staff needs to focus on the floors, we asked for special attention to be given due to how dirty they were and it was still far from clean. Other than that staff was very helpful and friendly! Michael at check out was happy to make up for disappointment with Housekeeping.

We stayed in bayside bungalow for spring break. King Bed, on water with sand beach. Room has a sofa sleeper, shower & toilet separate from double sink. A walk in closet & mini kitchenette. Check in process was slow. The staff was friendly but not professional. We park right outside the room. These are small bungalows with parking. Beautiful grounds,...

Is this place really a four star resort? I think not. I'm very high maintenance when it comes to hotels and resorts (which probably works to my detriment). This resort looks like it used to be a spectacular find back in its heyday. But let's face it, it's not the heyday anymore. It's more like luxurious campgrounds as my friend...

We brought our family of 5 here again, it was great. Our 7, 5 and even our 2 year old loved it. We stayed in a Bayside Bungalow. The minute we arrived to the room we felt like we were on vacation. Even though Paradise Point is only about 1.5 hours from home, it feels like a destination. We've learned...

Outdated. Full of ants in the room. Adult-only pool has no music and no bar (although the kid friendly pool has both of those). Food choices at every restaurant on site is boring and over priced. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is its location. So make sure you rent a car and leave the island so you can...

Well, if holiday villages are your style, you’ll be surprised to discover this one. Located on its own island, close from all the city attractions, with a reasonable beach and clean waters, it is a real green oasis in town. One may say that it would need some refreshment, but hey!, you’re here to spend time outside, not in the...

We had a great stay and came home relaxed and refreshed. Great rooms with the tropical feel - great food! You could go there and never leave, everything was there on your own little island. We will definitely come back

This was our first stay at Paradise Point. WE LOVED IT! It was a pricier option for lodging, but well worth it as it gave us the setting we were hoping for while we vacationed in San Diego. It was easy to get to, secluded from other hotels, and near the main attractions and sights of San Diego. We pulled...

This was our third stay at this resort and we love it here. It's a great place to base a trip to this gem of a city with Old Town, Mission Beach, Sea World, The zoo and Balboa Park all within very easy reach. The resort itself was initially built in the sixties so don't expect ultra modern accommodation and...
