This resort could be so much more with a little updating. Rooms were comfortable but need decorating. Staff are all excellent and very keen to help. It was out of season so bar's closed early which left you needing to travel out to for some further atmosphere. I would go here again however and imagine this is a great place...

Our room was about what you'd expect from a nice Holiday Inn Express or Best Western. The bed was old and squeaky and the decor was unique but nothing special. The grounds are well kept and park-like with many swimming pools and walking paths as well as a small beach. We stayed during the off-season and our room was almost $200...

Location is great, property is pretty nice. Restaurant Tidal was good! Our room was very dated and the bathroom was awful, it had poorly patched marks in walls and had obviously not been renovated recently. Would not say the hotel was 4 star quality. Wish I had read the reviews prior to booking.

Nice hotel that I would come back to with the family. Duck / fish food available for sale in gift shop. Wish they had clearer paths to beach, found myself walking thru other rooms' patios to get there. You can tell the staff work for tips and rooms are a bit dated but decent grounds and location.

Great getaway in San Diego. I really felt an true escape from it all while I was on the property. I stayed in one of the water front bungalows and the views from my deck where lovely. The rooms need some renos but I understand that is coming up which will make this resort even better. Love the Bon fires!

This is an amazing place to stay! From the moment you arrive, you are in paradise! The staff goes out of their way to greet and assist you, the accommodations are top notch and the views are absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is very romantic with separate patios, fire pits, sunsets, walks on the beach or strolls through the grounds! Barefoot...

This place set the bar for the weekend trips me and my family like to do. SO MUCH for the kids to do! Food delivered to the pool was awesome. And I bought a ton of stuff at the retail shop. The beach outside our door was the best part.

I loved the location and the rooms at this resort. However, I felt everywhere I went outside smelled of sewage. The staff was great and the drinks were even better. I loved the look and feel of this resort and would definitely go back, just wish it didn't smell so much outside (Which this might not be something the resort...
