LOUD plane noise and owners were not particularly accommodating.

Ben and Doug know how to run a Bed and Breakfast! The food was awesome, the ambience was relaxing, and their knowledge of the city and suggestions were spot on. The location is walking distance from Balboa Park, as well as several restaurants in the area. The room was spacious and attractive. We'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay at this B&B. On the plus side, the food was spectacular with a different quiche and fresh fruit each morning (thanks Doug!), the rooms unique and clean and the assistance from Ben was above excellent. On the down side, there is a large dining room table that everyone sits at and sometimes conversation between strangers can...

We spent 4 nights at Keating house while visiting San Diego, was one of the best places of our US stay this year. The house is very well maintained and the owners Ben and Dough so helpful and welcoming and that made a great difference. We will recommend this place to anyone, families, couples, etc. The food presented for breakfast...

Doug and Ben are great host. We received a great overview of things to do (most of which confirmed the Trip Advisor selections we had made). My wife and I stayed in the garden room and our friends in the yellow room. The rooms were great. The location is an easy walk to the zoo/park, and even the Gas Lamp....

Onwer very nice, along with a great group of guests. Close to Little Italy, Balboa Park and 1/2 mile from Gaslight District. Only downside would be the aircraft that come in very low over this part of town. It didn't bother me, but my wife was woken a few times. Easy street parking

This is a really beautiful place and convenient to just about everywhere with the ability to walk to many sites and restaurants. Hosts are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Yes, there is plane noise. But you're in a city! We love cities, but we know some do not. If noise is an issue for you, this might not be...

This place has everything you could wish for, a clean room, nice garden, access to public transport, nice helpful hosts and best of all an excellent breakfast (check out the photo!). The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly, even offered to drive me to the airport. It is definitely much better value then the overpriced hotels downtown, and much more...
