Extremely covnvenient location, right there in the famous Gaslamp district of downtown San Diego; right by the major nightlife area - which is crowded with restaurants, bars and clubs. The hotel has a great rooftop bar and swimming pool - and is full of art and well designed details., Recommended, good value for money.

Dear Guest, I am happy you enjoyed your visit to the United States. I am also very happy with the very nice review you gave us. I just want to comment that while we are a beautiful historical landmark in the Gaslamp Quarter, we do not have a swimming pool. This might be a typo, but I wouldn't want any...

Excellent location in the Gaslamp District, this historic hotel is a real find. Comfortable beds are a must for me! We had a 1 BR Suite, which gave us plenty of room to relax. Close to the Convention Center, public transportation, hundreds of restaurants and bars, as well as other attractions, make this hotel a real find!

Made a reservation here due to the fact they were "suites" and an affordable option. The location was convenient to the Gaslamp restaurants and bars. The size of the rooms were tiny. It was like they were once a single office and they renovated it, cramming beds and a TV in there. The view from the roof was nice. Would...

Dear Guest, I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. We tried to resolve the situation but unfortunately not to your satisfaction. We did refund you the money and allowed an early check out. I hope you enjoyed the remainder of your stay in San Diego.

We stayed here for a week in August 2013. The location is fantastic. RIght in the middle of the gaslamp. Rooms were great. Comfy bed. Lots of space. Refrigerator, microwave, wine opener, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop. Never actually had the breakfast they provide up there but did sit up there afternoon and evenings many days. We'd take a...

I have been other times to San Diego but this was the first time I stayed in a hotel in the Gaslamp. The location of this hotel is just perfect! Very nice staff. We had a king/suite room and it was actually big. The decoration is old fashion way, but it didn't bother us at all. Really comfortable bed. Good...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I am happy you enjoy our hotel, location and our staff. In regards to parking, unfortunately parking is at a premium rate in the Gaslamp Quarter. We are actually in the low end of the parking rates compared to the other hotels in the area. There are other alternatives, outside of valet parking....

On the plus side, the best thing about the hotel is the location, right in the heart of the Downtown area, close to many attractions, restaurants, shopping or just a bus or tram ride away from others. I was in room 910 (outside view) which was comfortable and adequate for my purposes, bed was huge and the decoration fine. Staff...

I read mixed reviews about this place and was a lite scared to stay there but once we got to it everything was wonderful. First the hotel is located in an amazing spot tons of bars and resturants around. We stayed over a weekend and it can be really loud but you should expect anything different when you're staying at...

As well as being in a great location this hotel offers very good rooms, a more than adequate continental breakfast, and extremely knowledgable and helpful people on the front desk. They helped us with location of bus stops, which bus or trolley to take to get to a certain area and tips about transit passes. A senior can get a...
