We loved Mississippi! The staff was so nice! Beds clean, room clean and didn’t smell! Breakfast was good. We did think that there was a hot breakfast but it’s ok! I would recommend staying at this hotel. ♥️
Our hotel room was very dirty. The floors along side the beds and in the corners was covered with dust and some plastic pieces. At least the sheets were clean. It appeared the the main floor had been mopped but after returning from the shower the bottom of my feet were dirty. We talked to the front desk about the problem They offered to move us to another room but we declined. We were traveling with a pet. This experience was similar to another Wyndham we stay in earlier in the month. Very dirty rooms. I wonder if this is indicative of rooms that Wyndham provides for people that travel with a pet. I have stayed at other hotels and the rooms were clean. I would avoid this property regardless of whether you are traveling with a pet or not.
Was just what we needed. Price very good for services provided will stay again. Clean rooms and good parking. Could do better on the breakfast selection. Beds were very nice and comfortable. Thank you.
Staff was very rude and threatening. Checkout is supposed to be at 11am but they will start knocking on your doors around 8:30am and keep knocking multiple times until you either leave or it's your checkout time.
Lots of dirt between bed and night stand, long hair in refrigerator, only 1 regular coffee packet available, only one tiny bar of soap for the shower and room sink, broken tile in bathroom floor, smears on night stand and dust on coffee pot made it feel dirty. Breakfast bar was the only thing served for breakfast. Would not stay here again!!
The difference between the regular customer rooms and the pet owner rooms was astounding. If you travel with a pet, best skip this motel. We were mistakenly placed in a regular room but when my husband reminded the check in clerk that we had a small dog with us, they moved us to a different room that was vastly less accommodating. The floor was tacky, the furniture scarred, dirt buildup in the corners, and a dirty foot spread on the bed. At least the sheets appeared clean. This was a seven stay cross country trip and while other motels were doing hot breakfast, Baymont offered cereal bars. Did I mention we paid extra for this room?
I was traveling with two dogs and my criteria for hotels was of course a hotel that allowed dogs. There was plenty of area to walk the dogs and there is a Veterinarian Hospital right door. The room a Double Queen had plenty of room and was clean. I enjoyed my stay.
The check in was easy & room was nice. The beds were comfortable but room was hot. My husband turned on AC but was loud & rattled. So sleep was disturbed. It was advertised as “ Breakfast Included”. At check in we were told it was “ Grab and Go” - understandable given COVID. Breakfast consisted of Nature Valley & Quaker granola bars and a coffee machine! We travel a lot so other hotels have had “Grab & Go” yogurt, muffins, fruit , pastries, and coffee. I think this is deceptive because a granola bar isn’t breakfast- maybe a good quality protein bar would pass.
The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was nice. I enjoyed my staff for a business conference. The check in and out was fast. Housekeeping came by at 830 am to ask if I wanted or needed anything. Wi-Fi was good. Nice place to stay.
We are traveling cross-country and realize booking hotels via the internet, even after reading reviews, is a crap-shoot. As long as the room is clean we can comfortably spend a night. We generally stay in Wyndham hotels to build up points and, for the most part, have been satisfied with accommodations. Well, this Baymont in Tupelo is NOT CLEAN! At $130/night we expected a decent room. The first room we were assigned had used washcloth draped over the shower, the tub was grungy looking, and there was what appeared to be months of dirt and grunge in every corner of the room. We requested, and were provided, another room. No dirty linens but still grunge in all corners, the desk chair looked like it had never been wiped clean nor dusted, the tub base was filthy with dirty foot prints! If we had not prepaid we would have moved on down the road. Hopefully, the sheets were clean... they appeared to be... but if the condition of the rest of the room is any indication, who knows?!? So much for extra cleaning during COVID! A big disappointment for Wyndham!…
