My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and could not have asked for a better experience. We arrived to the hotel at 8:00am expecting the hotel to just hold our bags until check in but they had a room available and they let us right in. You are literally right at the top of the steps...

What a great location! The T is right across the street and literally fifty feet from the hotel. We walked to the North End every day to eat at the fantastic Italian restaurants and brought back desserts from the delicious bakeries, Bova's, Mike's, and Modern. It is close to the Aquarium, Faneuil Hall and Quincy Marketplace. Long Wharf is a...

The location is great. The Aquarium T station is just outside the front door. The room was pleasant, clean, and QUIET. It was an Atrium room, so it had a window into an interior space. Bed was comfortable. Ample closet, mini-refrigerator. Good-sized room. Bathroom was large and clean.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Close to everything in Boston you would want to walk to or take the train to. The rooms are huge and very modern. Currently the lobby area is under renovation, but the staff goes out of its way to be accommodating. I would happily stay there again.

2 yrs ago, we stayed at the Marriott Custom House around the corner, which is a 5 star condo, but we did not want to pay their steep prices nor need such luxury. Someone cued us in about Harborside Inn, so imagine our delight to find a vacancy here! Took the Blue-Line subway from Logan Airport to the Aquarium Stop...

Unpretentious hotel in an ideal location for those new to Boston. Right outside the T station so really easy to get to from the airport - for $5. The room was average in every respect and we had no problem with housekeeping. The hotel renovations are confined to the lobby at present so no noise in rooms at all. However,...

We had some hard time finding a good value hotel in Boston, all hotels seem to be expensive there. Finally we found Harborside Inn and we were very pleased with our 2-day stay there. Excellent location right in the center of Boston. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms very practical, renovated with good materials. Very quiet, except in the lobby where...

This hotel is a great value for the money. It is a small hotel situated very near Quincy Market, The New England Aquarium, The North End, and the Financial District. It has a small lobby that is comfortable and equipped with free coffee and tea and comfortable seating to meet someone and have a conversation. The lobby has recently been...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
