Absolutely loved this place! Only a few minutes journey from the airport and within walking distance of most of Boston's landmarks. Our room was great as was the bar and the staff were always friendly and polite. Will have no problems recommended this to anyone who wants to visit Boston!

For my first vacation with the lady back in the end of April and beginning of May 2014. We stayed here because of its central location to the North End, Faneuil Hall, Historic Downtown, and the Seaport District (aka Harpoon Brewery). Boston Commons and Back Bay weren't too far away either. The accommodations were exceedingly nice. The room was perfect....

We just stayed for 3 nights and had 2 rooms. I get the boutique hotel now, yes the rooms are smaller and yes they aren't super modern but its Boston. The location of this hotel was awesome.. walking distance to great restaurants, the subway, Quincy Market and TD Gardens. With the weather being so bad it was great to be...

We stayed 3 nights at The Harborside Inn in Boston; the hotel website offered a winter special of book 2 nights, get one night free....an excellent bargain in an expensive city! The location is near the harbor and is directly across the street from Aquarium MTA station so it is very convenient for traveling around the city; you can also...

Attractive, smaller hotel, the rooms are small, but updated. Very comfortable. Great location, walking distance to North End and downtown. Only slight downside is no in-room coffee, but there is a Starbucks in the Lobby. Very good value during winter season.

This is my second time staying at the Harborside. The location is awesome, steps from Quincy market and a short walk to the TD Garden. I book the king cabin room. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are a good size. This year I got cabin 6. It has a nice couch and a table and chairs. They...

It's a small hotel, part of a bigger building, modern interior (lobby) but rooms a bit run down but clean...towels are soft and thick, no microwave only a fridge. Our room has windows facing the streets on the 8th floor (top floor). Awesome location as Quincy market is just across the street as well as the trolley tours.

Boston has turned out to be one of our new favorite cities, and that being said, Harborside Inn is centrally located, easy to get to, and has a really great atmosphere! The staff upon check-in we're very helpful and accommodating for us. There are great places to eat and enjoy close by , or you can jump on the ferry...

The hotel was in a great location, as it was close to the airport and some historical sites. It was very clean and modern. I was thrilled to have a king bed with 6 head and 2 throw pillows. The lobby and the soaps smell very pleasant too. This was a great value as a hotel. Only downside is that...

This is a nice place to stay. I have lived in Boston & when I return with family - this is an ideal place. Standard room had an awful cleaning odor - would have had me coughing all night - The next room did not have any offensive odor and was a great room to relax in. It was especially...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
