Midtown hotel worked great as I was late in booking my hotel for a conference I was attending. Best, but still kinda pricey hotel, within walking distance of the Hynes Convention Center. Hotel also allowed me to walk to several sightseeing attractions (Skywalk, Old Town Trolley and Fenway Park) easily. The size of the room was great, but the furniture...

I have stayed here on several occasions and will do so again due to the value for the location, the on site self parking and the accomadating front desk staff. The newly renovated lobby was also a plus however the always pleasant, accommodating staff are the Midtown's biggest asset.

Agree with recent guest review by Valerie - all the same attributes. Slightly dated but clean and comfortable. Good value for a conference at the Hynes Veterans Memorial Auditorium. Great front desk staff.

Based on previous reviews, I knew we weren't staying at a fancy hotel. We spent one night in Boston and went to the Red Sox game so this hotel was picked for its close proximity to Fenway. We spent $250 for the night, which seems crazy for this hotel, but was the cheapest in the area. It was approx. a...

Loud group in adjacent room eating Indian food that permeated through my room and hallway - poor ventilation. I called security at midnight and they came and spoke to people and they quieted down somewhat. I was not able to sleep until after 1AM. They started up again at 5:30AM. I spoke with front desk at check out and they...

Overall I thought the hotel was a good hotel. With its location I was within walking distance of Northeastern University. While it was a bit of a walk to the Boston Commonsand the freedom trail you can't fault the location.

Having paid the prie I did I expected a little more but apprantley that's what rooms are worth. The Location is very good! with 3 metro stations from 3 different lines at walking distance. Staff is also very friendly.

The ad said it was in the center of everything...not true! The price was overrated for the type of room we got. Parking should have bee free. The hoek smelled old and carpets were not very clean. No one helped us with our bags. Overall...very disappointing!

Hotel is good but seems to be constructed long time back. Hotel rooms have not been renovated since long time. Not a bad option to stay. Not a good option if going with 4 or 5 family members. Hotel rooms need to be added with more facilities like fridge, microwave etc.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
