We had a wonderful stay at the Midtown prior to a summer concert at Fenway Park. After getting settled we spent some time relaxing in the pool , before walking over to Fenway. The room was spacious. The Desk Clerk Ketty was helpful and polite. Everything went smoothly. We all agreed it is the BEST way to enjoy a summer...

Great location, but bathroom does need some refreshing. Glad to have AC, but it was a little loud. Hotel staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. You have to pay for parking. Symphony stop was ½ block away.

I was incredibly happy during my short stay at the Midtown Hotel in Boston. The staff is so much friendlier and approachable than at some of the other "expensive" hotels. The room was clean and comfortable and within walking distance to many things in Boston. Unfortunately I was working and din't get to enjoy those parts.

Very clean room. The pool was nice and the grounds were well kept. Very friendly and helpful staff! They even let us park an extra night for a concert at Fenway for $20 - can't beat that!! Close to Fenway as well.

My Friend and I stayed here 7/15 for the Dead and Company shows at Fenway Park. check in was breeze and parking as well. Parking was Free With a Ticket to the show at Fenway or it is $29, which is cheap compared to other hotels in Boston. The Hotel itself is clean with a great staff that helped out...

Hotel was in a good location for my conference. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a lots of drawers, closet space, work space and light. We did not spend much time in the hotel, so the lack of amenities such as coffee shop and exercise room did not...

These 2 are a must when staying at a hotel...We asked for a frig when we got there. One was delivered and plopped unplugged in.. It was dirty AND MUSTY. Couldn't use it. Then a guy opened our door and walked in on us!

This review is by an admittedly spoiled American. As another reviewer mentioned, the facility falls on the border of the motel category. Most likely built in the 1950s, it is white painted brick, with an underground parking garage. Depending on which room you're in, the elevator can be an unexpected distance away, as there only appears to be one elevator...

This is a gem. A reasonably priced, centrally located Boston hotel in one of the most expensive hotel markets in the country. Nice, recently refurbished rooms. We took the subway there - the Mass Ave station is only a block or two away. Our friends drove there and parking in the underground garage was included! Breakfast is on your own...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
