Although not a luxury hotel I find the rooms very clean and the staff very helpful. It perfectly serves my purpose and I have stayed there each year when I come to town with a few exceptions since 1987.

The Midtown Hotel was a great surprise. Its location, near a big supermarket and close to The museum of arts, Fenway Park and the Isabella Gardner Museum, ensure a memorable stay. The hotel's facilities and room were in excellent condition. I loved the stay!

This is the second time we've stayed there. The location is great if you want to have dinner at the North End, and see a Sox game, as it's as centrally located as you can get. The hotel was friendly, clean, and reasonably priced, and pet friendly.

Ask re parking, maximum height was 6.8 our van was too high- frustrating The staff were helpful, the rooms were clean. Great restaurants in the area within walking distance. For what we needed just a bed this was a great choice.

We enjoyed our stayed. Staff was great. The kids loved the pool and it was staffed by a lifeguard. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted an inexpensive place to stay on Boston. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, friendly and great location. My family has stayed there 3 times so far, we are from New Jersey. We go to see the Red Sox and visit the town of Boston. Great location, walk to Fenway Park, easy access to mass transit.

We only got this room to rest our heads after the show and it was great for that. Room was clean and quiet. They have a pool that looked decent. A bit pricey $370 but we got it at the last minute. The halls were a bit stuffy, but the air conditioning in the room worked well.

My son and I came in for one night and made a booking in hotels.com. The price was great and at first I was a a little skeptical, after reading a few older reviews. However, we got in around noon and they allowed us to park in their lot and even kept my sons guitar in the managers office for...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
