The Hilton Faneuil Hall is a nice hotel, though the lobby was small and at the time we went was somewhat taken over by evevator renovations. We arrived around 8pm after a long train journey and decided to eat in the restaurant, The Fin Point Oyster Bar & Grille, which was very good, though quite loud. (They do seem to have a "quiet area" available, but we weren't in it.) The room was large and comfortable. The windows were somewhat small and it looked out on another building, so it was a bit dark, but not bad. The coffee shop the next morning had a good selection of pastries and breakfast sandwiches. The staff were helpful and courteous. I would certainly recommend Hilton Faneuil, though it is pricey. Luckily, I had a voucher which made it more attractive price-wise. The only disturbance was that they started working, very noisily, on the elevators at about 9am, but we were leaving anyway. The noise was quite loud, even on the 11th floor, away from the elevators.…
I stay in a lot of Hiltons. Two things made the Hilton Boston Downtown Faneuil Hall stand out. First of all the breakfasts were exceptionally good. It was helped by being A La Carte instead of a buffet but it was so good that we unusually had breakfast for three out of our four nights at the hotel. Second was the outstanding service provided by Lead Concierge John. He got us tables at restaurants that were notionally fully booked including the Union Oyster House and North Street Grille. At the Oyster house people were being told that there would be at least an hour’s wait but we were straight in and at our table in a matter of seconds. The North Street Grille had a similar waiting time - for breakfast! At the latter I mentioned that the table had been booked for us by John at the Hilton. The response was “John is great”. He needs to be called out for his exceptional customer service. He even remembered my name including the spelling the second time we spoke. Nuff said.…
BEDBUGS! Do not stay here! Not only did I get bedbugs and unwittingly bring them back to my house, but the way the hotel handled the incident is completely unacceptable. I stayed at the hotel from 1-3 Nov 2022. The day I checked out of the hotel, I noticed 3 little bites on my arm. Didn't think much of it at the time. I traveled home and several days later I had bites all over me. I discovered I had brought bed bugs home. I immediately called the hotel and talked to a manager at the front desk. I let him know my room number, told them to have someone check that room and treat it. He said someone from housekeeping would contact me shortly. I waited several days, never got a response. Called again, had them transfer me to housekeeping - left a message requesting someone call me back. Nothing. Called again the following week, talked to someone at the front desk - no manager was available, but they took my number. You get the drill...no response. I had to move out of my house for 3 days and pay $1,500 for an exterminator. To not even receive the courtesy of a phone call back to let me know what actions they took, or to offer to comp the nights I spent there, is completely unacceptable. I've never left a bad review anywhere. Do yourself a favor, don't ever stay at this hotel.…
The hotel was a great time, close to many of the attractions that we wanted to be at! Both places to eat in the hotel we’re a great place to grab a bite to eat and a good breakfast! I will have to say that the highlight of the trip was the concierge desk, for a last-minute trip we came down and needed a reservation and Barry was able to get us a reservation at the last minute at what I would say one of the best restaurants in the north end!! We will definitely be back, and we will definitely be at this hotel again!
Rooms and corridors are a little outdated but has a pleasant coffee shop and lounge as well as a restaurant with a good choice of local dishes. Great location with valet parking or nearby parking at the Post Office. Some elevators were closed off for refurbishment but this did not impact our stay. Front desk were helpful and friendly
Great service from the front desk and the Door guys were super friendly and helpful. Room was above expectation and had a nice and clean bath and shower which was important. Restaurant attached to the hotel had exceptional food and the service was just wonderful. Highly recommend !
Rob was the man at the door the day we arrived. He helped us with our things and brought us to the desk. He never in the 3 days we were there forgot our names. He greeted us with kindness and was more than helpful with information and suggestions. He was always smiling and joking around with us. He made us feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. I will say that all the staff was kind and very accommodating. The hotel was clean and in a great location. The coffee shop attached has great coffee and a quick breakfast.
I came to Boston to have a quick Thanksgiving with my youngest who was studying in Amherst. I picked this hotel randomly- I didn’t know Boston and many hotels were reasonably priced. I was very happy with my choice. The staff was helpful and had my room ready early. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel is located near shopping and the bus stops to where my youngest was arriving and leaving from. The hotel has two in house food options- The Tradesman and Fin Point. Fin Point is pricey but good and served up a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Great stay- would return.
Just returned from a girls weekend trip in Boston with out stay here at the Hilton. The staff went above and beyond for us this trip. They were kind enough to re-heat our takeout since there are no microwaves in the room ( at 1 am mind you). The concierge, specifically Barry, made miracles happen and was able to get us a dinner reservation with no wait time at the last minute on a Friday evening, true hero here. He also had great recommendations for bakeries and gave fantastic instructions on how to get to the restaurant. They also helped us book our trolley tickets faster than I could have done it at the trolley station. Hotel was very clean and very conveniently located to a lot, particularly TD Garden Center, and lots of dining and nightlife. Will definitely stay here whenever I am back in Boston again…
My friends and I stayed for 2 short nights but it is by far one of the best traveling experiences we've ever had. Beds we're comfortable and the hotel was spotless. The concierge desk did everything they could to help accommodate us and ensure our trip to Boston was amazing. Barry specifically pulled a lot of magical strings that ended us at a delicious restaurant. I will absolutely be returning again in the future!
