I just stayed here for one night. Somewhere it reads that this is an excellent 4 star hotel, which I think is a good assessment. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but they are spacious. The breakfast was good. The staff is friendly. And yes, I would stay here again.

The room was spacious and clean. The view of the Gardens was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. They greeted me each morning and addressed me by name when walking through the lobby. The location in downtown Boston was superb. It was within walking distance of the Gardens, the theater district, and amazing shopping at Copley place. The tube...

The staff and hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. II was fortunate to be placed in an oversized King room -- wish I was there a week and not just a night. I have paid for "Concierge Lounge" access in other brands and none met the luxury, quality of food or service that the Taj Continental Breakfast offered. Yes,...

The best hotel in Boston, by far! It is conveniently located, the staff are amazing, the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean, modern and airy, and the amenities are wonderful. This was my second stay and I look forward to staying at the Taj the next time I visit Boston.

I was in Boston with my daughter. The Taj Boston never disappoints! The room was gorgeous! The service outstanding! The front desk and concierge went above and beyond to help us line things up each day and then accommodated us until our flight left later in the day. This was my 4th stay there and it is absolutely my favorite...

The accommodation is very good, the hotel is very well allocated in the downtown close to the metro, restaurants, shops and in front of the park. Its old style makes you feel at the past but with all comfort. The hotel is worried with the minimums details, since the shampoo until the chocolate at night.

Choosing the Taj Boston was the absolute best choice I made when looking for a hotel. It truly exceeded my expectation - although I had read all the good reviews about it. Its decor was so tastefully British, its location couldn't be more central, its service impeccable, we were particularly impressed with the concierge who made the best recommendation and...

We were lucky and got a good deal on our room so good value for money. Eating here was expensive. The staff were helpful and friendly. On the downside the wifi was slow but they did sot that out or us when we told them. Water system was noisy and not enough hot water for the large bath. It is...

I had an issue with my cell phone demagnetizing my room keys. It is a new Samsung Edge and it charges wirelessly. I could not keep my room keys in my purse with my cell phone and it took 3 days to figure it out. This most likely happens to other travelers.

Right in front of the Boston Public Garden and on the corner of Newbury Street, close to restaurants, stores and just 15 minutes walk to the North End. Excellent location. Also the brunch on the roof top had a great view of the city, it's a buffet $76 per person or $86 with Champagne.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
