Ideal position for seeing all that Boston has to offer. Luxury without being too corporate. Friendly attentive staff and the room was spacious and clean and had a city view. The bar was nice for a pre or post dinner drink and we had breakfast one morning in the café

Lovely hotel in a great location of Boston Back Bay area - Cheers Bar just a block away and Copley Square a ten minutes walk. The hotel has some nice Art Deco touches and the staff were polite and helpful. Great stay. Shame we couldn't have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent the bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned and serviced twice a day. All the employees were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect being walking distance to all the sights. We plan to return.

The overall experience at the hotel was excellent. The staff is extremely polite and attentive. The suite I was staying has very tasteful decor and was particularly comfortable. Unfortunately, Boston is not one of my frequent destinations of my travels, but the Taj will be my home in town for the next visits.

Luxurious hotel - fluffy robes, little white slippers, Molton Brown toiletries. Helpful staff - especially the Concierge who gave great sightseeing advice. Great central location overlooking the Park. Didn't eat in the hotel - plenty of cafes and eateries nearby.

We stayed 2 nights in early June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Taj Boston. While the property is older, it has an upscale feel and appears to have been maintained quite well. It is located in a lovely area, close to shopping and restaurants. I found the nicest thing about the hotel to be the exceptional customer service......

From beginning to end, our stay at the Taj was luxury. Bags taken off us as we stepped through the door, complimentary upgrade to acknowledge a special occasion, chocolate covered strawberries and rose petals in the room as an extra treat for us and the room was amazing with every need catered to. It is a fantastic location to see...

We stayed for six days in an executive suite. The room was very large with a living/dining room adjacent to the bedroom. It was all well maintained and had a classy but understated feel. Complimentary wifi worked fine although you do have to reregister each day. The hotel generally exudes old style charm. Maybe one or two areas would benefit...

Having used the Taj Hotel ever since it took over the awesome location from the Ritz, I have been impressed with the very high level of customer service the hotel provides. Consistently friendly and responsive staff. This past week my wife and I stayed two days to visit family. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and the food...

Stayed in Taj Boston only for a night (wish could have stayed more). Right from the time you get off the car, there is a door man, takes your luggage. Smooth check in process, complimentary wifi, and luggage gets delivered to your room. Excellent rooms. Spacious. Generous bathroom amenities. Bathrobes, weighing scale, slippers, power adapters in the room, choice of...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
