Comparable to a doubletree suites but without the cookies. Ok but not great. Don't go for the " bay view" it is not guaranteed and our rooms were downgraded without notice. Skip the Rebel and find a better restaurant
A Very Nice stay. The room was Very Clean. Location made it easy to get around the city and there were plenty of dining options near by. We had a wonderful family vacation. Would definitely recommend!
A great location within easy walking distance of the T and the North End, with lots of restaurants nearby. Rooms are a little scuffed up, but generally comfortable. The public areas are very nice and the hotel is clean. The meals served at our conference (breakfasts, lunches and one dinner) were all well prepared and tasty.
Good location right near Boston Common. Very comfortable clean rooms. Super comfy bed. Nice staff. About a mile from the Harbor so we felt a bit away from tourist areas but close to where the Freedom Trail starts.
Okay place. Nice staff. Restaurant on roof is only a bar. Rebel Guild has a very limited breakfast menu...nothing light. Lobby bar never opened as far a we could tell. Room air conditioner hard to adjust. No fridge in room. Towels worn and frayed. Location good for touring.
The hotel itself was perfectly serviceable except for the god-awful internet speeds. It's pretty ridiculous that they charge such a high "amenity" rate only to have internet speeds that are amazing for texting and nothing else. If you're looking for a hotel in a decent area, this is pretty great. If you're looking for a hotel in a decent area but want to do anything involving the internet...go somewhere else. If my work wasn't paying for the hotel, this would have been a much lower ranking review due to the poop-tier internet alone. The AC units we're marked as being "loud" in other reviews, but I actually liked the sound. The only real issue that I had is that it would just randomly stop working.
Extremely overpriced hotel with outdated rooms, equipment an facilities. The check-in was a fiasco as they told us our reservation was cancelled. Try to avoid this hotel. If you have no other options, be prepared for some unpleasant surprises: they will hold up your money on your credit card upon arrival, and it is the total sum per stay plus deposit. Then, upon check-out, you will be charged (again) for your stay. I have travelled half of the world world but never seen this. Usually, the hotel holds up some deposit which is returned in a few days. With Revere hotel you are not informed or warned about any deposit in advanced. In case of longer stay together with high prices it can ruin your other plans because a hell of money will be blocked for a very long time (3-4 weeks). You cannot do anythong about it as they simply don't communicate after check-out. The only thing you can do is to avoid this place.…
Room towels, etc are only on demand. Refrigerator avail on req. Expensive daily parking. Rooftop bar with friendly staff. No laundry on premise, or nearby. Great location near Boston commons. Overall rating nets to avg.
Great location and great lobby decor. We stayed here for five days and was able to walk to all attractions (except Harvard). Front desk was helpful in getting us going in the right direction each day. Sad to not have the rooftop open on the nights we were available. Only disappointment was the ice machine wasn’t working on a handful of the floors. Had to go up 5 floors to find one. Liked that the room had a balcony.
Large, well appointed rooms. Friendly, hospitable and professional staff. Great rooftop bar with fantastic Boston views. The location was perfect for my visit and I’ll always consider the Revere when I visit Boston. Very nice hotel and accommodations.
