We stayed one night for St. Patrick's Day. It was very nice! I love the place, wish it was a little cheaper. It is an older hotel, cell phone service is a little hard in some areas. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Expensive hotel, tinny room. You can't stay there with your family nobody will fit there. My room view was a wall 15 feet away. I can't even see the sky. On the other hand, the restaurant is good. The lobby is beautiful and very well decorated...

Excellent service all around. Took less than a minute to check in and express bill was slid under the door on the date of departure. Hotel lobby was open to the public and was busy at times, but was clean, well attended, and safe. Great bars and dining atmosphere. Very close to all kinds of things so if you did...

The Omni Parker House is a small and older hotel. The rooms are smaller than most Omni's. The rooms are clean and nice and everything was in Omni working order. Went to Boston for a convention and this hotel was perfect as it was close to where I needed to be every day. Starbucks across the street made me a...

Good place and relatively convenient location to Boston. The service there is pretty good. My only complaint is the online check in service (they still made me check in when you get to the front desk which I didn't understand), and the room fan/heater is VERY loud. I would recommend bringing ear plugs. Otherwise the beds are VERY comfortable.

I have stayed at Omni before and loved it so I booked a package weekend deal to get away with hubby....standard bed size was for ONE person (not two) - very uncomfortable sleeping. Room view was another building behind the hotel. Room temp was either too cold or too hot. could hear people in the hallways after midnight - so...

The hotel was fine, just not what we expected for the prices. The rooms were small (as is expected from a city hotel) but the bed was smaller than a queen. The television was grainy and the internet which was not free (easily circumvented by joining the preferred guest program) was slow to the point that it wasn't worth using....

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
