Beginning with the courteous doorman, the efficient and friendly front desk, the happy and pleasant concierge to the culinary artistry of the kitchen and the "truly happy to see you" wait staff to the elegance and proper hotel itself this is the only place to stay in Boston. Go anywhere else and you will miss the experience felt by people since before Charles Dickens stayed there. Must Stay and Enjoy. Do not short yourself of the experience. Don't forget to visit the Last Hurrah.

Hotel's Favourite
Beautiful hotel! The moment I stepped inside the lobby I felt as if I stepped back in time. The whole hotel including the rooms smelled and looked clean. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever felt, even more comfortable than my own at home! We went for my friend's birthday and hotel staff was nice enough to send to our room a small little birthday surprise with yummy sweet treats! We were also able to check in very early with no issues. Staff was friendly. I wish the bar and restaurant were open for dinner but that just means I will have to return! The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of all the main attractions and parking garages. The downstairs lobby by the gym has a mini museum which I found pretty cool. Only "bad thing" is that the Wifi isn't free so we didn't use it but the connection on our data plan was super fast inside the hotel! I also wished the rooms had a mini fridge. I read up on the history of the hotel before arriving and I wished I had a supernatural experience as I believe the hotel is haunted, but like I said I will just have to return to hopefully get my ghost experience lol. Over all, the hotel was fantastic and surprisingly more affordable compared to the other surrounding hotels considering this is a huge part of history.

The lobby was gorgeous, as was the classic room with a view. We especially appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Craig in the gift and coffee shop. He had excellent food and destination recommendations, and greeted us every morning. The hotel is centrally located to everything Boston has to offer, and very safe! Loved it!

I have stayed at the Parker House many times over the last twenty years. It’s a special place, steeped in history with a long tenured and caring, attentive staff - from the front desk to the valet. With that said, the hotel as it stands right now is not living up to its reputation. While noted on the website, it’s sad to see none of their storied restaurants in operation several days a week. There is no room service and plastic cups only in the room. It’s more like a motel than an elegant hotel right now with good bones. While the staff was responsive to our issues - including a view of trash outside the window - the whole experience is diluted and a bit sad. I will also note prices remain comparable to pre pandemic. I understand the pandemic has hit hospitality hard, but I have traveled quite a bit in the last year and comparable companies including Marriott, Auberge, and Hyatt have managed to provide a much better experience with far more services and standard amenities that the Parker House currently lacks.

We appreciate your loyalty to our hotel and understand that our limited operation isn't what you have come to expect. Extended hours of operation in our outlets are coming soon and will be noticed by you on your next visit....we look forward to hosting you again!

The Omni Parker House clings to it's "historical value" and good location and offers near to nothing else. This hotel will try and nickel-and-dime you and offers fewer amenities in it's rooms than a Motel 6. I first checked in to the hotel with my wife after booking with Hotel Tonight, payed my 55$ Valet fee and was given my room. The room they ended up giving to me was the size of a large walk in closet with a single full sized bed. I did not want to stay in what used to probably be servant quarters and I immediately called the front desk asking for a room with a king sized bed. I was told it would be a 30$ upgrade fee, but given that there was 2 of us I just went with it. HotelTonight customer service ended up calling the hotel and refunding me, which was nice of HotelTonight. I realized that evening that there was no microwave in the room and called the front desk to see if I could get a microwave and they told me that would be a 20$ charge to have that delivered to my room. I said a quick no and asked for the mini-fridge included in the (yes another) 20$ "travel" fee that I had to pay at check-in to be delivered up to my room and a bell boy came up with it 15 minutes later. The 20$ "travel fee" included, use of the gym, "complementary" water bottles at the front desk and "deluxe wifi" which is limited at 7mb speeds and you have to pay another 15$ fee for highspeed wifi. Unless you're obsessed with historical value DO NOT stay at this hotel. The rooms are nothing near 4-star quality and this hotel will strip you of any spare dollars you have if you want your stay to be anywhere near adequate for the year 2021.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a room with a king sized bed. They may put you in a servants quarters room...

It is apparent that you were expecting a more modern style of accommodation and apologize that our hotel did not provide everything you were seeking. Allow us to mention that our destination fee does cover a wide range of amenities and is commonly charged by many other hotels here in downtown Boston. Thank you for your feedback and have a happy and healthy new year.
