The outlook is old, but the room is modern and clean. This hotel is very close to the subway station and it is very convenient place. Many shops and restaurants are nearby. Boston Common, Quincy Market and so on are also nearby.

Classic old hotel. Wonderful old style wood trimmed lobby with beautiful Boston themed art and interesting historic displays scattered around. It is almost like being in a museum. Helpful, friendly staff. Right on the Freedom trail. You can hit many of the sites including Boston Commons, Faneuil Hall, Old State House - literally all just a short walk away. Perfect...

Any request you have for a room, forget it, no matter how many times I called and requested a high floor, nothing. It was also cold in the room not freezing, just cold the room temp. would not go up at all. And the breakfast at Parker's, your better off crossing the street and going to Starbucks

It's likely that we were close to being sold out when you stayed with us and were unable to accommodate your request, for which we do apologize. Next time, please contact the executive office prior to your visit and we'll do everything we can to get you a room on a high floor. Thank you for your feedback!

all was great except disappointed at the extremely high price to use the business center, didn't read the fine print and more than 2x the cost of the stay; food excellent; great location; staff excellent

I love this hotel. My new go-to in Boston. Room rate was great but...$48/night for parking. Ouch. Cheaper at The 4Seasons. Front desk staff were friendly but... I found a few of the bell hops to be rude. One literally watched me schlep my suitcases up the stairs as the snow swept in through the door. Then he asked if...

Thanks for letting us know that your arrival experience didn't meet your expectations so that we can address this with our bellman, but allow us to point out that our valet parking rate equals the average of all downtown Boston hotels. Parking in the city isn't inexpensive!

Excellent hotel in downtown Boston. Great views, great location. The only disapointment was that the restaurant was not open for dinner as it was a Saturday. Luckily the hotel is located just across the street from Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. The valet parking is key.

Saturday? Perhaps you meant Sunday? Parker's Restaurant is open on Saturdays but closed on Sunday evenings. We are pleased to learn that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your feedback.

The hotel is very nice. Rooms are comfortable and the food at the bars and restaurant is superb. All the staff were very helpful. Location is perfect as it is an easy walk to just about everything you might want to see.

We will definitely stay here again. We decided at the last minute to stay here after attending a hockey game at the Garden and were so glad we did. We had our two children with us and check in was easy even though it was almost 11pm. We didn't have prior reservations so to be able to accomdate us so...

My wife and I have stayed at the Parker House Hotel on a few different occasions. We ride the Downeaster Amtrak train from NH to North Station. From there it is a short cab or uber ride to the hotel. Once there you are in the heart of Boston. The door, bell, desk and concierge staff are amazingly helpful and...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
