I was looking for a hotel that was close to the Convention I was attending for the week (Shout out to SP TechCon!). Didn't want to stay at the big boys because I wanted to experience the Back Bay/Fenway area. I also like the personal touch of a bed and breakfast. If you're thinking about an alternative to the mega-hotels,...

My brother had stayed here this past March and recommended it to me for an overnight while I was in Boston visiting our father. Location was perfect: Boylston and Mass Avenue, a T stop 2 blocks away. Victor at the desk for check in was charming, helpful, a perfect host. My room was perfect for me: twin bed, lights and...

After spending more than 3 hours looking for affordable accommodations for a business trip to Boston, I finally landed on the Oasis Guest House. It was BY FAR the most affordable option available to this cost-conscious business owner and traveler. Check-in was smooth and the staff are all very friendly and eager to help with bags and offer information. My...

I would definitely stay there again when in Boston. Very clean, towels changed daily, cleaned daily too (unlike other guest houses). Very close to Prudential and the bridge to MIT. Breakfast is self-service, bagles and cheese, yet still good. Very attentive staff.

My son had stayed at the Oasis before, so I left it up to him when we decided to meet in Boston for a couple of days. It was perfect for us; comfortable room, very nice sitting area where we enjoyed the continental breakfast, and a great location for all we wanted to do while in Boston! Everything is clean...

My wife & I recently stayed here. Boston hotels are extremely expensive. Oasis guest house was about a third of the price & after reading previous reviews decided to give it ago. It is well located close to the T, Fenway & easy walk into the centre of Boston. Our room was tiny with double bed, bedside table & tv....

My husband and I have stayed at The Oasis Guest House Bed & Breakfast a number of times over the last five years, and highly recommend it. Located on a pretty, quiet street, the Oasis is appealing, comfortable, and reasonably priced-- and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's easy walking distance to Northeastern University, Fenway, the T, and to...

We only had one night in Boston, so the location of the Oasis was excellent. It's 5 minutes from the nearest T ( subway) stop, Hynes at the junction of Mass Ave and Boylston Street, Bustling Boylston, charming Newbury St., and the green lungs of the Boston Public Garden and Common are all within walking distance. The small rooms are...

It's a bit of a stretch to call this place a B&B. The Oasis Guest House had more of a hotel/hostel feel, not that I minded that. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was continental (Coffee, tea, juice, bagels, toast, pastries, cereal, fruit, etc.....). My room was clean, but had a bit of musty smell (I think that was because it was...

I was at a Harvard conference and stayed at the Oasis Guest House B&B. The manager was excellent at giving directions from the airport. The breakfast was great and since I had to be at my meeting by 8AM he served it early. Our room was pleasant and clean. It was so convenient to get to my Conference at Copley...

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
