2 blocks from Boston Commons park, we enjoyed our stay here. The room is tiny, but the staff are friendly. While my husband wrapped up with Uber, one of the hotel employees helped me bring in bags. Breakfast was waffles, fruit, breads/bagels, cereal, coffee/juice. Perfect...More
We took this hotel as it was reasonable priced for the quarter, USD 240 for a 2 bed room. Room was small, AC was loud, view from the room wasn't great. Staff was friendly but in general it should have been renovated this place.

Thank you for noting our great location and friendly team. Most of the hotels on Clifton are historic in nature so will appear dated. The AC units typically operate on a high fan mode which is louder than normal.
One of the oldest hotels in Boston and a bit shabby in places but in the process of being decorated and has some lovely Art Deco features. We had the smallest room (214)(in which you couldn't swing a cat!) for which we paid a small...More

Jill, May graduation dates are "prime time" and high season in Boston as you discovered. Yes, we are going through an extensive renovation. The location is great as noted, and I'm glad that our team took good care of you. Yes, our rooms are small...More
Despite the obvious efforts to improve this hotel which is under new ownership much remains to be done. With limited budgets I can sympathise on how difficult that may be. The lobby and breakfast area are well presented. However, the bedroom we had, although complete...More

Stuart - You are correct, much remains to be done, and we are doing it. As part of our 2017/2018 renovation we are replacing all bathrooms, all casegoods, all carpets, all beds. We will also have an updated lobby. The area has street noise on...More
I am glad I stayed just for 1 night at Found Hotel. It needs an urgent remodeling. Too old and very expensive for the current facility. The staff was not kind . I would not recommend as a place to stay in Boston.More

As the signs in the lobby note we are currently undergoing a significant renovation. If the team members were "not kind" I too would be concerned - that is the first time we've ever heard that comment and I am unware of any situation. Boston...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have
your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
