This is the third year that we've spent the holidays at the Four Seasons, and once again we were treated exceptionally well. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped out of our car. Our suite overlooked the Public Garden. We hosted Christmas Eve cocktails for family and again on Christmas Day before dinner at the Bristol...

We usually stay at Ritz Carlton, but decided we would try the Four Seasons. We were there on a Thurs - Sat, understanding it is the Holidays there were so many kids in the bar it looked they were having Christmas parties ( at least 3). They were running around making all kinds of noise and distractions. A bar should...

Having reviewed destinations for Christmas, and based on reviews on trip advisor, booked the Four Seasons. Checked in today 24/12 after travelling from Australia for a three night stay and could not get dinner except or Christmas breakfast reservations, only room service available. Appears outside guests are more valued. Wish I had booked elsewhere... And wondering what Christmas Dinner will...

Of course the Four Seasons is amazing! Just a great place to stay, even when you live close by, it is so nice to go into the city and get away from it all. This place is across from the public garden and a stones throw from newbury! Had a wonderful brunch for my birthday, and enjoyed every minute of...

Unfortunately I only stayed here for one very short night (after a delayed flight), but the location was great, just opposite the park, and within walking distance of the business district. The hotel room was very large, but I would have preferred one large bed rather than two double beds in my room. The free coffee and small pastries in...

On November, my parents came to Boston from China to visit us. When we arrived the airport of Boston at the day we left, my mum realized that she left her jewelry on the night table in one of the room in this hotel. One of that is the ring of my parents' wedding anniversary. However, we didn't have enough...

Once again, the Four Seasons met expectations as the best place to stay in Boston. Even on a cold winter day the view of the Public Garden was beautiful. Staff were very helpful, dinner in the Bristol Lounge was promptly served so we could attend Symphony on time, and the Concierge arranged a car for our return. The room was...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
