The staff was excellent, professional and attentive. The beds were comfortable. THe bathroom was gorgeous, with a luxurious tile shower stall, a soaking tub for two, and a commode (I affectionately referred to it as a s*** closet, which was bigger than my entire bathroom at home - and had a phone, so I guess you could call for help... This was our fourth time to the Four Seasons Boston and it never fails to impress. We travel with children so we need a place that welcomes us along with them. The kids love to pick out their toys at check in. We were able to pay for a room upgrade at check in which was great for the extra... More

We came here for breakfast as a special event , It overlooks the Boston Common and is a quiet and special place. I would highly recommend it and have been going here for several years for breakfasts and dinners. Comfortable and great relaxing interior,

I spent a couple nights at the Four Seasons Boston for New Years Eve - what a great place! Its perfect inside and the staff was excellent. The location can't be beat - right across from the park, the parade goes right across the front, and you can see the 7PM fireworks from the windows. I hope to be back... More

I have been to this hotel several times over the past year and what troubles me is that you don't get what you pay for. I usually go for lunch or dinner. My brother who is in a wheelchair can't make it up the stairs to the lounge and has to take the elevator which is fine, but when the... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
