First of all, don't forget to pack warm for Boston! I sure had a great time in the Chandler Inn. The location is just perfect for anyone visiting Boston for the first time. 20$ cab from the airport. The room is warm and cozy and the shower ir AMAZING. I love the complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. Everyone...

This was our 4th stay at the Chandler. Still remains our favorite place in Boston. Good value for price. Great location in the South End. Easy access to public transportation and walking distance to shopping streets and great restaurants for brunch and breakfasts. We always ask for corner room on high floor where it's quiet and has nice view of...

This boutique hotel is very cute. The staff was friendly at checkin. We loved the bar located off the lobby. Very convenient if you want to start or end your day there. The rooms are small but that's ok for a night or two. They give you plenty of towels and extra blankets if needed. The location is perfect. Only...

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay here in August 2016. Our room was clean and modern and while a bit small, it worked great for just the two of us. We didn't spend much time in our room anyway as we were out exploring most of the time. We both drink coffee every morning and I was a...

I thought the Chandler Inn was very chic and modern. Rooms were very very small, but we were only there 1 night so not a big deal. Pros: - room was clean - friendly front desk - awesome central location - great water pressure in the shower Cons: - teeny tiny room/bathroom - mattress was terribly uncomfortable - the parking...

As other mentioned, the rooms, especially bathrooms, are very very small. Room was clean, towels plush, and linens a good quality! That being said, our remote would not work for the t.v. The bed side table drawers would not stay shut. The bedside table clock impossible to set. Drain in sink had to opened with tweazers. Get ice before going...

The Chandler Inn Hotel was a pleasant place to stay for 3 nights in October. The good thing about this hotel is, it is conveniently located in the heart of the city close to metro and commuter rail. The hotel was really clean, no complaints on that front. The reception was open even at 2 AM in the morning, check-in...

The hotel is quite old & in need of improvements in the room & amenities (towels sheets etc). The room I was in was very small which is ok for sleeping however the bathroom was impossible to move in and had no space for holding a small bag of necessities. Walls were quite thin as well & heating is controlled...

My girlfriend, another couple and I stayed here the night before we took Amtrak down to New York City as it was only a five minute walk from Back Bay Station. The rooms are utilitarian and on the small side, especially the bathrooms. I could wash my hands in the sink while sitting on the toilet, they were that close...

First time staying in this hotel and I must tell you everything about it was terrific. I'm usually up very early and they have coffee 24hrs a day. The night manager Glenn was so nice and a pleasure to speak with as he could answer all questions and give great suggestions about the area. They have a restaurant and bar...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
