The Chandler Inn Hotel was a pleasant place to stay for 3 nights in October. The good thing about this hotel is, it is conveniently located in the heart of the city close to metro and commuter rail. The hotel was really clean, no complaints on that front. The reception was open even at 2 AM in the morning, check-in... More

The hotel is quite old & in need of improvements in the room & amenities (towels sheets etc). The room I was in was very small which is ok for sleeping however the bathroom was impossible to move in and had no space for holding a small bag of necessities. Walls were quite thin as well & heating is controlled... More

My girlfriend, another couple and I stayed here the night before we took Amtrak down to New York City as it was only a five minute walk from Back Bay Station. The rooms are utilitarian and on the small side, especially the bathrooms. I could wash my hands in the sink while sitting on the toilet, they were that close... More

First time staying in this hotel and I must tell you everything about it was terrific. I'm usually up very early and they have coffee 24hrs a day. The night manager Glenn was so nice and a pleasure to speak with as he could answer all questions and give great suggestions about the area. They have a restaurant and bar... More

Very good hotel; very clean, and good location which was a very pleasant walk through a park to the Boston Common and Freedom Trail. The route of the walk was suggested by the very helpful front desk staff.

We chose the Chandler Inn for a whirlwind weekend to Boston due to its price and its proximity to Symphony Hall. The Inn's South Boston neighborhood proved friendly and charming. As the desk clerk had assured us when we checked in, the mile or so walk to Symphony Hall was very safe. (Worth noting: City traffic laws are protective of... More

The Chandler Inn Hotel was a pleasant place to stay for 3 nights in October. It is conveniently located near the Back Bay Orange line T Station (subway/metro) which also serves commuter rail and buses. It is not far from other stops as well. To get there from the station you walk around the block down a brick sidewalk past... More

Solid place to stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bar downstairs offered a great breakfast for a reasonable price. Pretty well located to everything we walked everywhere and the trolley was nearby for hop on hop off tours. As a couple it would have been nice for a double bed (we had two singles) But it didn't really... More
