New with modern decor, yet still feels cozy. Why? Because staff is so kind & welcoming! We arrived unexpectedly (in pouring rain) & were here because the other hotel we had booked (NOT this place) had a really strong cleaning smell that triggered my asthma so we had to find a new place. So we arrived at Element wet, with no reservation, & me freaked out about my health. Staff went into the rain to get umbrellas over us: quickly got us out of the wet & helped us dry off suitcases (not saying hotel workers should have to get soaked, but they seemed genuinely to feel bad for my son & they really wanted to help). They also were understanding in letting us inspect room (before booking) longer than normal so I could be super sure no cleaning product smells (there weren't).

Room: elegant, very smart design with everything just where you need it, big like an apartment (generous well-appointed kitchenette), very new, ultra clean; looks exactly like website. Good view out window. Beds so comfortable! Bathroom shower good. Hallways secure, clean, very very quiet.

Element is very short drive/taxi fare to the airport. We had to check out at 4:30am to catch our flight & staff did great job making sure our taxi was waiting for us. Though the hour was early, front desk employee was energetic & cheerful, offering us warm sincere smile. We are for sure planning on returning to this hotel (we plan to come back several more times!!).

My partner and I stayed at Element over Christmas and New Year while visiting Boston. A regular visitor to the city, we were really delighted by the value and quality of the hotel. We had a studio suite, complete with kitchen, and also had use of the facilities and pool of the neighbouring Aloft hotel. Breakfast was a great event - chef cooking a different dish each morning as an alternative to the diverse buffet on offer. Bridget on reception was a star and made our stay comfortable - nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel was a nice walk from Downtown and the Common, meaning all key stations for transport and visits were easily accessed. We’ll definitely Stay here again.

We stayed at the Element this week while visiting Boston. It is in a great location with a ton of parking including a parking lot at a reasonable price. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, the room and the hotel overall were very clean and very well run under the pandemic conditions. We stayed in the largest room which was fully equipped with appliances including a full fridge. The seaport district is a great place in general for great restaurants and entertainment and still close enough to get into th city. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I was wow by the cleaningless (room everyday) in all areas, great kitchette, great location, modern, ecologically correct, and best of all, great service... the young night front desk clerk, Nani Christmas, was a true representative of what customer service is all about, and always with a smile on her face.
The parking fee is high. However, I highly recommed this hotel, we all loved our stay here.

Stayed 5 nights here for a conference across the street at the convention center. Was extremely convenient location, could be at the conference with a few minute walk, quick eats (Dunkin, Jimmy John's, convenience store) very close with plenty of higher end restaurants within 10-15 min walk. We had a great corner room with a nice view of downtown. Service was excellent, they helped me send a package back to my office. Breakfast was also very good, with a hot entree prepared to order each morning and plenty of selections from a buffet.

Stayed overnight at the Element July 22nd. The Hotel was wonderful from check-in to the daily breakfast. The Front Desk Clerk was very inviting, efficient and got us checked into our room very quickly, He even gave us local restaurants to get food delivered from since we arrived late in the evening. The room was very clean and spacious, and I loved the view. When I come back to Boston "Element will definitely be the hotel I choose to stay in.

I long term stay for business. There are multiple choices in Southie that offer the rooms and amenities that help you feel a little less transient. I chose to keep staying at Element Seaport because it's a standout. The property is in a great location to be able to walk to whatever you want (and believe me, in Boston, you do NOT want to drive). It's a well kept and safe environment. But, what really kept me around is the staff. Everyone has an incredible attitude, tries to be helpful, is courteous and goes out of their way to make sure you're glad you chose Element Seaport.

I don't know quite what to say other than while I think there are good aspects to this concept, I think it is a fail. The staff was great, though they NEVER had money to make change for tips saying we had to go across the street to ALoft if we needed change. The staff though was very friendly and we have no complaints about short staffing, but I felt bad that I could not tip on all occasions due to the lack of an ability to even break a $20 bill.

The room, while spacious with refrigerator etc., which we really liked, had a very uncomfortable bed and blinds that didn't cover the windows properly. In fact I saw where other had tried to tape the blinds to the window to stop letting light in. Who needs an alarm, I just got up with the sun hitting my eyes. The pulley system was also damaged. The tv was so basic it didn't allow for apps and the remote did not work properly. Engineering brought me another remote that sort of worked, so with the two remotes I could get the tv to work properly, but the tv was either ancient or cheap. The bathroom sink is large, but at the expense of counter space and the bathroom could be brighter. That applies to the hallways as well which seemed dimly lit.

The decorating of the hotel is an absolute fail. It felt a little like a prison without any imagination. It was cold and uninviting and when I say cold, it was physically very cold in the hallways compared with the lobby. The color scheme can be green to accommodate the vibe of the hotel, but the shading is all wrong and industrial in nature. Again, prison came to mind and I don't want a place I am staying in to feel like a prison.

On the good side the complimentary food in the morning was very good. The workout facility was nice, though it would have been great to have a Peloton. The pool is small and is really more like a splash pool and not overall useful.

The location for what we needed was great. A short walk to many attractions and we even walked to the North End, which took awhile but is very doable for most.

Overall, while there are some good aspects to the hotel there are just better choices elsewhere at this price point.

We were excited upon entering our room to find a beautifully appointed, well-designed one bedroom suite. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. Barking dogs in the next room. To her credit, Camilla (please give this person a raise or promote her), was seen in the hall being pulled by two large dogs who'd been left alone in the room next door in crates! She called the owner who gave her permission to remove them. Above and beyond. Thanks Camilla. Now we were finally ready to bed down. Open the fold-out. No sheets! Now we have to call down and wait. They arrive. STAINED and a HOLE in one! Okay, the top sheet can be bottom. Next morning, more fun. Lucky for me, before heading to the lobby and carrying two coffees back upstairs, I checked my "Mobile Key" to see if it still worked. Nope! Had to stop at the desk for a key card. I've actually never let a review for a hotel before, but this Silver Elite Marriott customer was so thoroughly disappointed by this stay that I felt I should warn others. BUT Camilla deserves a medal.

Brand new modern minimalist hotel, ultra clean, efficient staff, large rooms with minor cooking facilities. No restaurant but a buffet breakfast is served and tea and coffee are always available in the lobby. This hotel is really geared to guests who do not intend to spend time or do much in the hotel other than sleep, as an option to the more formal large full service hotels common in Boston this is an excellent choice with a good central location, many restaurants within walking distance and easy transport links by taxi or rented car to other areas. Quoted rates appear high but it is deeply discounted on various booking sites.

Good evening hns009. Thank you for your inquiry. Although there are a few lots in the area, we only offer Valet parking for both the Aloft and Element with Lot on D for $50 a day with in and out privileges. We are not affiliated with any of the other parking lots in the area.

There is some street parking down the road to the west. I am not sure if a permit is required for that area. I didn't have a car so I can't otherwise comment.
