We hadn’t stayed at an Element before. We were pleasantly surprised. We had a king room with a full kitchen and sectional couch. We were within walking distance to the waterfront. Instead of noisy ice machines they had bags of ice at the front desk in the lobby. Valet parking was a breeze.
I stayed at this hotel while traveling to Boston on business. It looked brand new, had excellent service and had a very reasonable price!! I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Also liked the efficiency style with kitchen even thought I didn't need it.
Super friendly staff - great location - and a lovely breakfast! Would highly recommend - the ambiance was much brighter and bubbly than the hotels near by. Wasn’t trying to be something it wasn’t. Thanks to the element staff for a lovely stay!
Location wonderful for walking, shopping and dining. Plus 10-15 mins to BOS. Room was fabulous--full kitchen and comfy sofa/seating area plus stools for dining at your kitchen counter. We loved it! All seemed new and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing... everything from yogurt, muffins (including gluten-free), fruit, and chef-prepared omelets!
I stayed at Element Boston Seaport District 6 years ago for a conference and liked it a lot. That's why I chose Element this time. Unfortunately, after 6 years, there are quite a few things for improvement during my stay this time. 1. The front desk staff was not very welcoming. Especially after my delayed arrival at 10:00pm, I was hoping to at least see some friendly greetings. Nope! He didn't even tell me the breakfast hours until I asked him. He didn't even welcome me as a Marriott Bonvoy member. 2. The first room I was in had a lot of problems: broken phone, disconnected cords for electric curtains, stains on the sheets, no manual or information sheet regarding how to use facilities in the room (e.g. electric curtains). There was nothing on the Hotel TV channel to direct the customers. There was no TV Guide with channel information, either. I had to go down to the front desk three times to finally be switch to another room. 3. The amenities provided in hotel rooms are inconsistent. For example, there was a mini note pad and a pen in one room but not in the other. 4. The walk-in bathtub has some chipped spots. There were stains on the wall. 5. Some of the kitchenware (pots, pans and containers) needs to be replaced. There is a problem with the handles of the kitchen cabinet. it is hard to open the cabinet doors. They need to keep up with the hotel maintenance. There are some great things that I like about this hotel. 1. Delicious and great selections of breakfast with a made-to-order egg station. Friendly dining staff. 2. Fully-equipped kitchen to make my stay feel like home. 3. Great and fresh fruit every day. 4. A good sense of sustainability. The hotel uses real silverware in the room and the dining area to avoid unnecessary use of plasticware. 5. A great location for people attending conferences in Boston Convention Center 6. There is a filter in the kitchen sink so guests can feel comfortable drinking the water instead of drinking bottle water.…
The hotel staff is incredible! Sandra Lopez, Kevin, Jossie all took time out of their busy day to meet with me today. They resemble what other model hotel employees should be which goes a long way in hospitality. Both properties are lucky to have these employees!
Comfortable room with everything I needed (and then some!). Huge kudos for the breakfast: great variety, including plenty of well-labeled, gluten-free options. Loved the Greek yogurt bar and the station where a friendly staffer makes eggs to order. It's so nice to have a hotel breakfast that's not just bread/fruit. Room could have used a few minor updates (things were scuffed up), but very clean. Location was great if you're going to the convention center or other nearby hotels. It's a comfortable walk into downtown Boston on a nice day (25-30 minutes). Lots of restaurant options just a few minutes away.
The room was quite comfortable. I did not realize at the beginning that my room faced the convention center and its parking lot. It's such a huge convention center. I had some bad luck. I woke up at 12:30 AM, and the door of my bath room would not open. I had to dress and go down to the rest room in the hotel lobby, and then they sent someone to open the rest room for me. This was all fairly quick, but then it was difficult to fall sleep. The coffee machine at the lobby did not work most of the time, but when it did the espresso was delicious. Excellent breakfast with yogurt, cereals, toasts, and omelettes. Very good service at breakfast.
Had a marvelous time at Element Hotel. From check-in to my departure; every staff member I encountered was courteous and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean and had everything I needed to make the stay convenient and comfortable. The WiFi was solid and the free breakfast each morning was delicious. Looking forward to another opportunity to visit again. Thank you.
The hotel is in a very convenient location close to the airport, which is why we chose it. The breakfast in the morning is pretty good, offering Greek yogurt with toppings, French toast station, and nice fruit among other things but not a lot of meat options. The reason for 3 stars is the sleep quality was not great. The blankets are flimsy and the curtains are paper thin, light wakes you up in the morning. Otherwise the room was comfortable with a nice kitchenette.
