Understaffed is an understatement, I'm up ont 3rd he ice machine didn't work I didn't have the extra pillows I required w When you're painting 500 bucks and you kind of exspect the small things and I thought you could never get wrong with Marriott iwas romg thelocation is terrible it's right in there's so many homeless people and desperate looking souls I don't feel comftable w alking from my Hotel Truthfully I would have changed to a different Marriott but for Kaya at the frontdesk Bc or my torn shoulder I'd requested extra pillows no luck however Kyle was nice enough to go get me addit pillows, otherwise I would have changed hotels last night in the middle of the night this is not a good experience here
As we checked into this hotel, the friendly staff person greeted us with a smile. When we asked where the subway station or "T" was located, she pulled out three subway debit cards another guest had left with them when they were departing Boston. This struck us as more than kind, and the less than two block walk to the subway station was welcome after travelling all day to get there. Our room had two comfortable queen beds, plenty of ice cold a/c and a mini fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was serviceable, we assembled yogurt and fruit parfaits for ourselves and nice, strong, coffee. Within walking distance were a Target, Olive Garden, and Applebees. The area surrounding the hotel might be a bit dicey in late night, I wouldn't walk there or from the subway station without a large group of people. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and the staff was absolutely wonderful.…
Hotel is beautiful. Immaculate throughout. I had an issue with a cancellation/reschedule which for an unknown reason didn't go thru. Very well could have been a mistake on my part but Yudelka(apologize if misspelled) was AMAZING. She and her manager(i failed to get name) both helped me get the rate I originally booked it at and even let me check in early with an upgrade. With Platinum Elite it is a benefit when available but in no way a guarantee. They were amazing and Yudelka was beyond pleasant and helpful. This was my first Sox game since the pandemic and they went above and beyond to ensure it went off without a hitch. As a CS manager of a large volume call center I know incredible service when i see it. THANK YOU and Marriott is lucky to have you both.
I was in Boston for 3-4 days and overall enjoyed my stay here! From Vandy (hotel manager) to Agustin and Yudelka (Front desk/staff), everyone was friendly and super helpful. Some things to point out before you book your stay include the following: - The rooms were cleaned every day! Because of covid, I know that some hotel chains weren't cleaning as normally....not sure if that was due to limited staff or to cut corners. - Breakfast is provided now! They have limited options so that might be a bummer for some people that expected waffles or other hot meals. Breakfast was usually cereals, fruits, bread/bagels, breakfast sandwiches (ex. Jimmy Dean), pre-made omelets, and coffee/juice. The only downside is that there are only two microwaves in the breakfast area and one of them takes forever to heat your meals up. - This hotel is right behind a mall and within this mall there is a bus stop with 2-3 bus routes. Since it was my first time in the area I relied on public transportation for all of the touristy stuff like Castle Island, Fenway Park, Copley Square, Freedom Trail, etc. The 10 and 16 bus routes has a stop to Andrew Station which has connections to other Subway routes. So bus, subway, and walking will all be part of your routine here if you're new and don't want to rely on Ubers. - If you forget something or come unprepared for the weather up here (*like me) the mall has a target, old navy, and grocery store called stop and shop. There are also some restaurant options if you want to grab a bite to eat before or after venturing out. I give this place an A+ and hope to be back soon!!!!!!…
I was very impressed and pleased with this hotel and the amenities that it has. The hotel front desk receptionist Susy and Kayla were very friendly, warm and accommodating to the guests needs. It’s close to the shopping center and minutes away from downtown Boston. This hotel is definitely worth booking if you are planning on visiting and vacationing in the area.
Great service, very kind and very clean hotel: Amazing staff. I would always want to come back and stay at this hotel whenever I am in Boston next time. Highly recommend this hotel for others. They also provide boxed complimentary breakfast along with coffee in the morning and the fitness center is the best in the town. The location is very convenient as well.
Excellent customer service representative, Excellent room service , 👌 front desk service room service awesome and very clean rooms.. quiet peaceful a place like no other towels are always fresh we appreciate the stay from Alejandro and Nichole..
Good hotel. However try to avoid lobby breakfast there. More expensive than you are led to believe as they charge an extra $3.50 per person for….coffee. Also the man in charged nudged us twice in 1 minute about whether we were ‘still picking’ at our expensive breakfast. We’d been there exactly 15 minutes.
I was very impressed worth the gym. Leg press, lat pull down, bench, free weights up to 50 lb, cable machine, kettlebells, and normal cardio machines. The hotel also has a bistro and the Brussel sprouts were good also. It was pretty close to everything and would stay there again.
My company wanted me to save money and suggested I find an AirBnB downtown. This Courtyard was only 3 stops away on the Red Line and was the same price as a reasonable downtown BnB. The room is much bigger than what you will find downtown as well. The only downside was the 10 minute walk from the Hotel to the Subway. If it hadn't been too cold that wouldn't have been an issue either. I plan to stay here in the future.
