Nestled between the historic North End and storied cobblestone streets of Beacon Hill, The Boxer Boston Hotel stands out among hotels in Boston, MA for its distinct location in the city’s triangular Flatiron Building. Originally constructed in 1904 and newly renovated with an industrial chic aesthetic, The Boxer tells the story of Boston past and present through design, architecture, and most importantly, personalized and intuitive service. The hotel’s central location in Bulfinch Triangle is perfect for exploring the city by foot, whether it’s a concert or game at TD Garden, a walking tour of the Freedom Trail, or a scenic run by Charles River. Afterwards, indulge in comfort food and cocktails at our local, modern American brasserie-Bulfinch Social and settle in for the night in one of our 80 stylish guestrooms overlooking downtown Boston. We’ve just been rated among the Top 10 Hotels in Boston by Condé Nast Traveler in the 2017 & 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards. Thank you to all who voted for us!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Boxer this past weekend and it was amazing. This boutique hotel looks and smells amazing from the second you walk inside. The front desk was warm and friendly throughout our stay! The whole hotel was clean and quiet. The bed was insanely comfortable! If you’re driving, be aware that you have to park in a parking garage a few minutes away. It was a surprise to us but it wasn’t a problem... plus the market is right there too so it’s a good reason to walk down! I have been telling everyone about our stay and how great it was. We will definitely be back, especially for TD Garden events (just a few minutes of a walk, so convenient!). If you’re looking for dinner nearby, check out Bodega Canal which is walking distance also. The hotel restaurant was closed the night we stayed but it looks gorgeous.

The Boxer is a small, well-appointed hotel close to so much of what Boston has to offer. Our room was comfortable and clean. Every staff member we interacted with with friendly and professional and so kind.

There was a sharpie pen and a rubber band right on the floor when we opened the door to our room.. then there was a chocolate milk wrapper and contact solution vile between the bed and the nightstand.. I know they likely would have switched us to another room had I not been too worn out to complain, but sometimes its not worth it when you're traveling and tired and the next room might have the same lack of cleanliness.. I would have liked to know that the bar was closed ahead of time. This was more our fault, but as a tip, pull up to the hotel loading zone and check in and drop bags off FIRST, before trying to find the parking garage and work backwards with luggage. I do not recommend doing what we did and trying to find the hotel in the rain after parking . NOW WE KNOW! And we will likely be back, due to location and sleep quality, but with the awareness that we might need to have someone clean the room or change rooms, and the awareness of the parking situation.

A cozy hotel with very comfortable beds. Great city location and perfect location for an event at TD Garden. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was also very good. Only wish valet parking was running but that’s Covid and no fault of the hotel———————————————————————————

Clean, lovely, overly accommodating, and more affordable than it has to be! The Boxer Hotel is everything that is Boston, bougie and upscale but not fancy or stuffy! Matthew and Cathleen the managers go ABOVE and BEYOND. The food and drinks at the Bulfinch Social Club are SUPERB! Close to Faneuil Hall, the Aquarium, walking distance to the Garden- stay at the Boxer you will NOT regret a minute of it.
