It's not often that a hotel embodies all that a city stands for, but the Loews Boston is just that place. Housed in the stately limestone building that was once home to the Boston Police Headquarters, our recently renovated boutique property is-like the city of Boston itself-a unique and unforgettable blend of historic charm, urbane sophistication and authentic New England hospitality. Our exclusive Back Bay location, which is ideally situated between three of Boston's hottest neighborhoods-the South End, the Theater District and the Back Bay-puts you in the heart of all that Boston has to offer, with everything you want to see or experience, including the shopping on Newbury Street, just moments away. If you are in town for an event at one of Boston's many colleges and universities, we offer effortless access to the campuses of Boston University, Boston College, Harvard, Northeastern, Emerson and Tufts Medical School, to name just a few. Our 225 spacious guestrooms, two luxury suites and an expansive Presidential Suite have been freshly renovated and bring you the ultimate in modern convenience and comfort. And our recently updated 1,024-square-foot Harrison Room-with its vaulted, 20-foot cathedral ceilings and crystal chandelier-is an unparalleled event space and the perfect location for your next intimate gathering.

Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

While my girlfriend and I were staying on the evening of Saturday, February 9, a member of the hotel staff entered our room, turned the light on, then departed the room -- even with the do-not-disturb sign hanging on the door. We were in bed when this happened and completely

Dear Guest, We are equally disappointed that our security team entered your room in error and offer our most sincere apologies. Certainly not a Loews standard and against what my team and I strive for with our commitment to hospitality. My management team has attempted to reach you via email and phone, without success, to again apologize and extend offer of compensation and I hope that we are able to finalize soon. Please let me know if I might also assist, Robert Rivers General Manager

My husband and I recently spent two nights at the Loews Hotel on a business trip. The hotel is in a central location, a short walk from the train station and near the shops and restaurants. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and check in was quick. Our room was small, but

Dear Guest, We appreciate your applause and comment for corrections and value every word, so, thank you for visiting and sharing! Guest room maintenance is critical, especially a 4 Diamond hotel, and I apologize that any amenity was less than our mutual expectations. Certainly we will attempt to discover your assigned room and make necessary repair. Loews has high standards and it appears we've missed an opportunity through our cleaning process and will address to insure a more consistent reporting. Again, thank you, Robert Rivers General Manager

Dear Noel, Again, Happy 10th Anniversary! I was fortunate to receive your first email back in late 2018 and could not have been so lucky to meet two wonderful guests from the UK. To have met you, and your lovely bride, was a pleasure and if and when I travel through Newcastle, I will be sure to send along a note so that we might share a pint! Hope your travels back home were uneventful and if ever back in US, any city which hosts a Loews Hotel, please send me a note and I will reach out and assist. Again, a pleasure, Robert Rivers General Manager

Dear Claudia, We are so fortunate to have a policy that allowed you to enjoy your trip to Boston and experience a Loews Hotel, so thank you for providing us this opportunity! Every team member is focused on guest satisfaction and our brand of service is casual and unpretentious while still being respectful and professional. We simply refer to this as 'unscripted' and it allows personalities to add to the impression. Although we believe it is a differentiator, comments such as yours reinforces why hospitality is so rewarding. We certainly hope that you travel plans will again include Boston, or another Loews city, and if we can ever assist, simply send me a note. Again, thank you, Robert Rivers General Manager

Yes. You need the room key to go up. To go down to lobby you don't need it. Only to go up.

Sorry I used uber and did not rent a car. Very easy to get around Boston. In fact I dislike driving in Boston as the street are narrow and difficult to navigate.
