The area was not safe. Lots of police activity. Streets nearby had loads of loose trash laying on the ground. The rooms need repairs. Had scheduled for tow nights but stayed only one. The day time desk personnel were not helpful. The evening personnel was a big help. The Guard on duty was very helpful.
We stayed at this hotel twice on this vacation. Both times we were warmly welcomed when we walked in. Everything was in tip top shape in our room and in the entire hotel. This hotel worked hard to make our stay the best. The crew here is tops!
We stayed at the Hampton Crosstown as part of our Boston marathon trip. We decided to go here as we are diamond members of Hilton and the Hilton was booked full. It is not the best part of town but all the negative reviews do not do justice. We enjoyed the breakfast a lot, Judy does a great job there. We stayd in in a king studio at the back of the hotel and even though we are light sleepers the sirenes did not wake us up. I would pick a room in the back of the hotel. The King studio is spacious with a fridge, perfect for a longer stay. I missed a duvet cover. We would use a hotel closer to the city center next time but if you need to be in the area it is a nice place to stay.
Very noisy hotel , close to big hospital! The area is called the « Metadone mile » there are a lot of clinics for drug rehabilitation, so a lot of homeless and people with drug problems walking around in that area! Didn’t feel safe at night ! Always took Uber to move around! I would recommend the area, the room was great and clean and great breakfast! But won’t go back to that hotel.
The rooms are OK. Beds are OK. The bathrooms are a little worn and could use tome TLC. Our toilet ran all night and was not fixed after we reported it. There were no other rooms available for us to move to. Stay away from the sausage at breakfast: it's really greasy and will make you sick. Be prepared for noise. The hotel is across from Boston Medical Center's ER and helipad, so expect sirens and helicopters landing at all hours. The hallways all smelled of marijuana smoke. If you are not use to an urban environment your sleep will not be good.
