This location may seem out of the way, but it actually is a great location if you do not mind a little walking to catch the T. The location is quiet, has some nice neighborhood restaurants nearby, is a short walk to the Boston Garden and the T, and has some great views. I have been to Boston many times,...

If you like to walk this is a good location to much of all that is Boston. We walked to the Common for ice skating show and pre-fireworks show with fireworks! Really very nice. The crowd wasnt bad and lots of police presence on land and sky. This hotel is very clean with friendly and helpful service. We got upgraded...

Stayed at this property with the family during the Holidays. Property located in Charlestown near the Constitution and Bunker Hill. Five minute walk to Bostons Italian district, the north end. We were upgraded to the top floor with great views of the city, request city side for the view. Parking is expensive at $45, so try for a free spot...

We stayed at the Residence Inn on Tudor Wharf for a weekend. The place was very busy with both the Toronto Raptors and Maple Leafs in for two days. The hotel is in a prime location for events at the TD Gardens; it is easily walkable either via the Boardwalk (under the bridge), or up over the bridge - the...

we stayed here over the weekend to attend a concert at TD Garden. It is well run and convenient to walking to the North End and the Garden. The car valet (sorry didn't get his name) and Dottie at the Front Desk were excellent - very welcoming, efficient and helpful. Definitely 5*++. Staying in Charlestown

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlestown
Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit. Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge from the North End or take the scenic water locks to Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll down cute Main street, wandering up the windy residential streets to Monument Square, where you can learn about the city’s history along with a great view of Boston at the Bunker Hill Monument. While it’s not a huge area, there are some excellent restaurants. Find your way to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is a developing area with lots of condos and an additional site for Massachusetts General Hospital research centers. Here you will also find the USS Constitution Museum. After you’re done, hop on an MBTA ferry at the dock on Baxter street and zip on over to Long Wharf and the New England Aquarium.
