Stayed on Casita in June 2016. It was clean, warm & had everything we needed. Arrived by water taxi which was fun. Breakfast was taken 2 mins away at deli, lots of great choices, hot or cold. Outside decking area on Casita was a great place to relax with a wine looking at Boston skyline in the evening. Perfect location....

We stayed two nights in September on Casita. Not only was the Constitution Marina B&B Afloat a unique choice with a central location in Boston, but it was also a cheaper alternative to more expensive chain hotels (even when we added an additional fee of $27 per day for parking). The Casita boat house had everything that we needed for...

Spent a full day in Boston the end of September, before heading to CT for a friend's wedding. This boat house is awesome, adorable, unique, and we (my husband and I) wish we had more time to spend in Boston and in the boat house. I get motion sickness easily so it took me a little bit to adjust to...

We come to Boston every few years for a doctor appointment. This is our third time on Casita. Just to let you know, it was in the low 40's and still toasty warm. Easy access to the area, we walk everywhere. Great view of the city. Always fun!

Staying in Boston for one night before heading up the coast and looking at $500+ for a soulless downtown hotel. Stumbled across B&B Afloat. Just what we needed - comfy bed, good shower breakfast from cafe across the street as take out on our deck. Journey from airport by water taxi kick started our holiday. Marina staff couldn't be more...

Based on other reviews we booked here and have been very happy with the accommodation. So close to everything and and on the hop on bus route. We used the water taxi from the airport and that was certainly an amazing way to arrive in Boston. Breakfast vouchers were ample for our start to the day. Slept very well as...

We stayed in Port. Only one night but I wish we'd had more. Relaxing quiet marina with easy walking access to all the big attractions in Boston and Charlestown. The best part is feeling completely at ease with the rush of city it just around the corner if you wish to partake.

My husband and I live nearby and wanted to have a fun staycation. We couldn't have been happier with our experience in the B+B Afloat. Staff were smart, attentive and dropped what they were doing to see us to our boat. We didn't know what to expect and were more than pleasantly surprised to see cable TV, AC, a fridge,...

In the hub of the harbour, moored up, was the house boat we stayed on. It was better than we though. Supplied with air-conditioning, and TV double shower and very comfortable double bed. The space in the cabin was bigger than we thought, smaller than a hotel room, you cant expect much! There was a coffee maker and fridge to...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and evenings sitting on the New Beginnings deck watching the harbor and city activity, rocking gently with the passing of boats and experiencing the friendly camaraderie of the marina community. What a treat for our 34th Wedding Anniversary! Thank-you Kieron, Sebastian and Mike.

Staying in Charlestown

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit. Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge from the North End or take the scenic water locks to Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll down cute Main street, wandering up the windy residential streets to Monument Square, where you can learn about the city’s history along with a great view of Boston at the Bunker Hill Monument. While it’s not a huge area, there are some excellent restaurants. Find your way to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is a developing area with lots of condos and an additional site for Massachusetts General Hospital research centers. Here you will also find the USS Constitution Museum. After you’re done, hop on an MBTA ferry at the dock on Baxter street and zip on over to Long Wharf and the New England Aquarium.
