The location and the public areas of the hotel are amazing. Unfortunately, this hotel was a disappointment as a place to stay. We reserved a room for 1 night at $494.46, including tax, for which we were charged $644.46 (I believe we will be refunded the excess by the hotel.) We had a comfortable king bed, view of the roof, a fainting couch that we had to use for our luggage (no other space, nor luggage racks available), and there was barely enough room to walk between the couch and the end of the bed. There was no closet and it was one of the smallest and "tightest" hotel rooms we have ever seen. It was advertised to be soundproof, but unfortunately we could hear people in the hallway until almost midnight. We ordered room service and after 50 minutes we received some sort of sandwich in a paper bag that we had not ordered for which we were charged about $30. Except for room service which got the order wrong, the staff was capable and friendly. Public areas impressed, but the rooms were not spacious at all and the price excessive for what we received. We will not stay there again.…
I travel a lot for qork and my Uber got there rather quickly and Ziggy made sure I checked the license plate before getting in the car. He was kind, courtesy, and very helpful. He lifted my very heavy bag for me with ease. Promote him! He will go far in hospitality!
One night was not long enough. This beautiful hotel in the middle of the Seaport District is simply stunning. I was in a corner king overlooking the convention center. The room had a warm and welcoming feeling as did the rest of the property. I LOVED the rose gold fixtures and the green accents- felt very fresh. We had the most delicious lunch at Coquette before heading to the Red Sox game. Jackson at the front drive made us feel very welcome while waiting for a taxi. At the height of rush hour we had a bit of trouble finding one but Jean at the front drive took it upon himself to run down the block, flag one down and ride back in it just to make sure we got to the game on time. Now THAT is service. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Boston area!
Tahira and Kenny provided such great service, we had a delicious lunch 2 days in a row. Wonderful food and service, in an elegant setting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others!!!!!!!
I’m here on a bachelorette weekend for my sister and we are staying at the Omni hotel. For breakfast we ate at Kestra where we were met with the BEST service and food ever. Tahira was our hostess and was so warm and kind - she sat us in a beautiful private room! Then Fernanda was our waitress and took such great care of us. Everyone was attentive and made it such a special morning. They deserve raises for their amazing service skills!
Three night spent during a recent work conference. Staff is excellent from check in through check out. Amenities are plenty and offer variety. Food and drink quality across locations great. Hotel is new, rooms still smell brand new. Great room aesthetics, great views from floor to ceiling windows. Location close to everything, including Logan. Great stay, thank you!
I stayed at the Omni Boston Hotel for a work conference. The conference space met all of our needs and the location was convenient. While the room was comfortable with a nice view, it was very small, with no closets or coffee maker. The front desk staff was amazing, helping me with several non-traditional requests and always cheerful. Ziggy especially deserves recognition for his help.
Our server, Kenny, was excellent. He was helpful in explaining the menu, his recommendations were great, and he went above and beyond. His service has been the best part of the hotel. Thank you, Kenny!
In town for the PAX gaming conference, we found our time in the Artist Tower at the Omni to be largely comfortable bearing some oddities. Overall we'd recommend it as a place to stay - good location in the Seaport, the hotel restaurants are all great, the mattress and pillows are incredibly comfortable, there is a huge lobby space which is lovely to work and meet people in, the room comes with a floor to ceiling window and has lovely lighting, and the hotel is new so everything was in good condition. But after our five night stay, we think it's good to know some things before you arrive that can help you make yourself comfortable, which is why I'm writing this review. The room is small, especially because there is no closet, though the hotel has done some clever things to maximize space like having the "dresser"/safe - two large drawers, one of them lockable - located under the mattress. Next to the toilet/shower space there is a loft-style pipe with hangers which serves as your closet. The bar is about 8'' long, and it made me glad we didn't have winter jackets with us - if I were to add at least one easy fix to the room it would be two hooks on the room's main door so that people could hang winter coats there, because otherwise there's no place to stow them, especially if you want to hang other things on your closet bar. There is also a modestly sized drawer on each of the nightstands, but besides that and the two drawers under the bed there is no stow away space in the room unless you stow some things alongside the towels on the shelf under the sink. There is also not a lot of surface space - the nightstands themselves are only about 12'' x 6'', enough to place your phone, watch, etc. on. Since there is no dresser, the counter which also houses the sink and serves as a place to place your toiletries is also where you have your cups and ice bucket placed. There was room on the counter for us to put our reusable grocery bag with our snacks next to the ice bucket, but there's really not much more room than that in terms of surface areas besides the headboard, which has about 5'' ledge, and we used that to place some of our items. We were lucky that one of our suitcases was slight enough to be slid under the divan, but our carry-on size suitcase was too thick to do that and sat in a corner of the room - besides under the divan, there's no space to hideaway suitcases which is rough when the room is on the small side. BIGGEST DESIGN FLAW: the bathroom door (I still can't believe this) is only translucent. So when someone is using the bathroom with the light on, you can see a silhouette of them that is translucent enough that you can even tell what color clothes they are wearing. (WHAT?!) This was the most uncomfortable part of the stay for us, since the room is small so there's not exactly anywhere to hide. Other small things: the hotel only gives two "hot" drinking cups in your room, and there are no extra cups offered at the beverage station. This is the first hotel of any star level where we've not had both hot and cold drinking cups, and we ended up reusing our cups a lot. Though the beverage station offers hot water, tea bags are not provided. The ice/cold water station was great, but the hot beverage machine made incredibly weak coffee (ffter experimenting I discovered if I picked double espresso first and then latte at the highest strength and that would get me a regular coffee). If you are staying in the Artist Tower and looking to get work done, there is one small table big enough to hold a laptop and you can work there by sitting on the divan - no other chairs or decks. The lobby, however, is large and beautiful and has lots of comfortable work spaces and we enjoyed working down there! If you are staying in the Artist Tower, to get to the pool you also have to go into the lobby, and then travel up three escalators to the pool area, something to think about in terms of what you wear to the pool ;) We think by knowing these things in advance, it's easy to prepare workarounds which will make for an even more comfortable stay. (Besides that bathroom door issue...yikes.)…
I live locally and visited the Breve Spa for the first time this month. I had the most wonderful experience at the spa. Everything was exceptional, from the check-in to the service and facilities. I have been to many spas in this area and this was by far the best experience I have had in Boston. Saskia at the front desk was kind, attentive and just lovely to be around. She made me feel so welcome. I had my services completed with Lemara one of the massage therapists. Lemara did an outstanding job and she was very kind, attentive and provided one of the best services I have ever had. Aside from the fact that the staff and services were outstanding, the facility was spotless with wonderful amenities. This has been by far my best Boston Spa experience! Highly recommend!
