The Charles Mark Hotel
The location is approximately a $32.00 cab ride from Boston Logan Airport. It is in a fantastic location amongst several café’s and upscale shopping. There is a Thai restaurant right next door that they use for room service....More
I recently stayed at the Charlesmark for business. I was travleing with a colleague and we both needed to stay at the hotel. When we went online to book the second room, the hotel showed sold out. I called and spoke to Kurt at the...More
I loved this hotel. In a town where accomodation appears to be very expensive - you get a lot for your buck at the Charlesmark. Great location on Boylston St - right in the midst of all the action. I found the staff to be...More
My husband and I thought the Charlesmark was an excellent choice for us. The location was great for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. We walked most of the time, including the Freedom Trail twice, the river park, and several lovely nearby neighborhoods. There are many, many...More
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice
weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

What's so "premium" about it? I got a room on an upper level with a window facing a brick wall. It was quiet, but even facing the brick wall, there was limited light. It was one of their least expensive rooms, maybe because it was so small....but it was still pretty quiet.

We stayed there last October. Took the Back Bay Logan Express which is bus transport and operated by the city from the airport to Copley Square which is where the hotel is located. Great, inexpensive way to get to the hotel; only $5 per person. The subway system is great to get around town but to get to the cruise port, we took a cab. Not very expensive. You would have to take the subway and bus to get to the port from the hotel. Great little boutique hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. We got to the hotel before check in time and they took our luggage so we could go sight seeing and it was in our room when we returned.
