If you think a Ritz Carlton is synonymous with the finer things a traveler could enjoy you'd be absolutely correct. After a super quick check in I walked to my room past walls adorned with what appeared to be Peacock feathers. I mean real Peacock feathers in vases. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Views of Boston Commons...

This was our second visit to the Ritz Carlton, Boston. We had a king suite and club lounge access. The lobby itself is actually quite small, but nevertheless comfortable. Check in was a breeze, and we were escorted with our bags to our room promptly. The room itself was large, clean and extremely comfortable. There is a state of the...

If traveling for business this is the perfect hotel for you. Its truly a great hotel and service was awesome. Although I typically get upgrades at Ritz Carltons I stay at all the time, I received an unexpected upgrade before even checking in even though this was my first time at this location. The room was typically what you would...

This Ritz is located in a great place as most of them are...it is clean, the staff trained and very personable. Getting a taxi at this location proved a little difficult with the Noreaster...but we survived. The rooms were clean and the beds were fabulous...

Stayed at this hotel for an extended period (over a month) for work. We were treated like Royalty. The rooms are beautiful, the food is great, and the service is fantastic. The bathrooms are very nice and the beds are super comfortable. The bar downstairs is also very accomodating.

We stayed this past weekend and overall everything was good. The staff was very helpful and the gym is amazing. The room was very clean which is most important! They seem to push the hotel restaurant quite a bit which got a bit annoying considering the menu is a bit limiting. Also they have free coffee and hot cider downstairs...

I had a quick overnight at this location and loved every minute of it! Check-in was quick, efficient, and personal. The room was spotless and bright--view was of the lovely roof garden. The room was well appointed with the standard Ritz amenities and fixtures. We had a remarkable experience in the Club Lounge. Rachel was the sweetest-big props to whoever...

I stayed here with my wife over the holiday weekend. We reserved a typical room using points. On arriving at the hotel, we had the service you would expect from a Ritz Carlton. Check in was easy, and after mentioning we were celebrating our anniversary they upgraded us to a room with a view of the park. We spoke to...

We stayed at this hotel off and on for several weeks due to a family illness, and ultimately her passing. It was a busy time for the hotel and they accommodated all of our various rooms and dates for our family. They truly made a very difficult time easier with their outstanding staff and their dedication to their guests. Although...

I am a huge Ritz Fan, reward member, etc. The room was average to below average as compared to other Ritz Carlton hotels I have visited (Laguna Niguel, Orlando, Chicago, Beaver Creek) and could go on. Very disappointed in the hotel in terms of ambiance. Everyone has been super nice, but for 800+ per night could get that elsewhere and...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
