Hotel is about a 12 minute taxi ride ($21 with tip) from the airport. Boutique hotel. Stayed on the second floor and found it to be noisy. The hotel is on Charles Street with lots of foot and vehicle traffic. The windows appear to be single pane. Our room was small but comfortable and clean. The room included breakfast which...

The last time I ate at this restaurant it was called Rebecca's (I think) and that was 35 years ago. Under new management and renovated from top to bottom I was thoroughly impressed by the casual ambiance, the interesting menu, the unusual wine list, the friendliness (and knowledge) of the staff and most of all the QUALITY of the food....

I liked this hotel a lot .the location is a few yards from Boston Common and in a historic neighbourhood with many restaurants and little shops and also a stroll away from the river . This is boutique not corporate .If you want a TV the size of a small house don't bother but it was ideal for me .The...

We stayed at the Beacon this weekend. The room we had was very small but clean. It was good enough as we were only staying one night. The room has shutters on the windows but no screens. The bathroom is decorated nicely in white and taupe. One issue we had was that the air conditioner was leaking and getting the...

We stayed here on 7/3 and 7/4/16. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay lovely. The restaurant closed early on the 3rd and when we arrived back, they, unfortunately, had already closed. I got food from a restaurant across the street and BHHB gave me a complimentary glass of wine....

My Wife & I wanted to stay in a central B&B by The Boston Common. This B&B was one block away. The bedroom was nice and cozy. I believe we stayed in "Doug's Room." Breakfast was great & the staff was professional. Loved all the shops right outside the front door. Loved the park & Cheers restaurant , which was right...

Although the weather could have been better, we enjoyed a wonderful time in Boston. We chose Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro primarily due to its location close to everything we wanted to see. We were not disappointed. The ambiance of the hotel and the historical neighborhood were something you don't get at a typical downtown hotel. The excellent staff, from...

The Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro is on Charles Street near Beacon Hill in central Boston. The location is perfect. Charles Street is an excellent shopping street with some excellent cafes. But best of all was the welcome. Everyone -- Reception, barman, all the waiters -- was so friendly and warm. The room was comfortable, the breakfasts superb (and included...

Neighbourhood Profile
Beacon Hill
Visit this historic and ritzy Boston neighborhood to soak up its classic New England charm as you stroll down cobblestoned, gas-lamp lined streets. Bring your walking shoes, camera, and select a nice day to wander through the hilly neighborhood and check out its exclusive addresses. Louisburg Square, Mt. Vernon street, Chestnut street and the extremely narrow and widely photographed Acorn street make a nice walking path. Make sure to meander down Charles street to poke into boutiques and antique shops, cafes, and restaurants on this quaint shopping street. Don’t forget to catch a glimpse up close of the State House with its beautiful and iconic dome.
