Our stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Seaport Boston was amazing. Ms. Memsura at the restaurant went above and beyond. She knew our names by heart and made our experience unforgettable. I wish every hotel I have stayed at had someone like her.

My partner and I recently checked into the hotel after disembarking from a cruise ship. My first comment is that the hotel is within a short walking distance of the cruise port, so there is no need to take a taxi. More importantly, the welcome from Inna at the hotel's reception was the best we can remember - and we travel a lot. Although it was perhaps 8 a.m., Inna offered us a noon check-in (I'm a Hilton HHonors Gold member), took our bags to the storage room, invited us to enjoy the complimentary breakfast and helped us to find our location on a city map. And when we did pick up our room keys later, Inna gave us a gift bag of snacks to enjoy in our upgraded room. Inna's contagious enthusiasm and obvious pride in her hotel shone! We would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone joining or disembarking from a cruise.

If this is your first time in Boston, then I don’t recommend to stay in the Seaport location. Getting to downtown and other parts of Boston with or without your car is not convenient. There are also only a few eating places in the walking distance. The rooms are very clean and new, which is a big plus. However the parking is incredibly inconvenient and expensive. I used the hotel valet to park. Since the parking garage is in the hotel, guests should be able to park themselves and access the car whenever they want. I had to ask the valet to bring my car in front of the hotel even for some small things-such as looking for a hat in the car. The parking garage should be accessible to the hotel guests all the time. Also, the hotel needs to provide better variety of healthier choices during breakfast. It was complimentary but the breakfast was loaded with carbs and sugar every morning. I understand that Hampton Inn has a standardized concept, however some of details need to be customized to scale up to the location and pricing. This hotel was definitely not inexpensive. So the perks should’ve been better especially to the Hilton Honors members.

This location is relatively new. Very modern & clean. My family and I stayed for the Christmas holidays. Delroy and Rebecca were very exceptional at arrival. The manager got us milk for our toddler when we ran out and he also assisted us with rooms adjacent to our children. The breakfast was a great compliment to our overall stay. Very thoughtful for travelers traveling on a budget. We did not use the pool but it is also a great addition to the location. What made this stay worth it was the thoughtfulness of Delroy and Rebecca in helping us with a late check out because our toddler was not feeling well. Would stay here again for the great service.

I was slightly underwhelmed with my stay at the Hampton Inn in Boston, especially with the nightly rates being higher than what I usually spend on average. The staff was friendly enough and the rooms were clean. But it was hard to rest up after long days going around the city, the air conditioning units of neighbouring rooms are installed against the shared walls and they made the walls "hum" at night, waking me up and making it hard to fall back asleep. The mattresses being a little on the hard side didn't help with this either. I'm generally not a morning person, so when attempting to get some breakfast somewhat later, most options were no longer available. On top of that, most of the cans with milk/coffee/tea were also emptied out. Overall, I'd expected a bit more for the price.

I would give 2 1/2 stars. The hotel is relatively new and very clean. The bed itself was comfortable. The staff is friendly. But it was a bunch of small things that were annoying. The fitted sheet was much too small for the bed - so as soon as I sat on the bed the corner popped off. Thru the night it worked its way down so I was lying on the plastic mattress cover. Not comfortable. The conditioner bottle in the shower was empty - that should be a basic thing for housekeeping to check. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work so I couldn’t use the hair dryer. I plugged it in in the outlet by the bed, turned it on, and it tripped a breaker because all the lights went out and it stopped working. VERY odd for a new building.

Since we were cruising from the port across the street this hotel was perfect. The lobby is spacious, the staff helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. Equipped with a fridge, lots of outlets ( usb and AC), a spacious bathroom, and comfortable bedding. Everything worked in the room, elevators were quick, and there is a well stocked self-service shop in the lobby. Free breakfast was typical in offerings, but all seemed fresh and there in plentiful seating. Overall a great two-night stay.

We stayed at this hotel prior to taking a cruise since the cruise terminal is about 3 blocks away. Even though the Lions Club conventioneers staying at the hotel made the lobby a beehive of activity, we received first class service. Carmen at the front desk was especially attentive and wonderfully friendly. The breakfast options were varied and of quality. The woman in charge of replenishing the food and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area worked tirelessly. Our room was quiet and very clean. There is also a shaded park with benches just outside the hotel entrance. We spent some time there enjoying the breezes and people watching. We were impressed.

New, clean hotel close to the cruise ship port is very popular with guests who are about to board cruise ships. Small swimming pool is overrun with cruise ship kids, and late breakfast can be a mob scene. I ate my oatmeal standing up one day.
Rooms are large and comfy with lovely beds, gym is good, but....the location of this hotel makes it a headache if you're in town to explore Boston. It's a good 15-minute walk from anywhere, and whatever you save on hotel fees will be eaten up by Uber and Lyft costs.
There's a bus out front that comes intermittently and not at all on Sundays, and the "Silver Line" nearby which looks like a train line on a map but is actually just another bus.
Bottom line, it's a nice hotel, and the location is probably fine if you have a car or are just waiting for the cruise ship shuttle. If not, you'll spend a lot of time in transit.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I don't go on this site often.
Logan Airport is on the opposite side of the dock to the hotel. To get there, take the SL1 bus from the Silver Line Way bus stop (a 10-minute walk from the hotel).
As for Gillette Stadium, your best bet would be to take a cab to Boston South station and catch the 'Foxboro Event Service' train to Foxboro. They run only on event days.
Hope this helps.
There are more places to choose from in the Boston area.
