Really loved our stay here. The building is beautiful in a lovely residential street. Our room and bathroom were great with a huge comfy bed. The room was beautifully decorated with original features. It's not a bed and breakfast as such. There's a bowl with fruit and energy bars, a nespresso machine and kettle in the room. Upstairs there's a...

This is the 2nd time my wife and I escaped to the city for a mini-getaway. We didn't even consider any other places to stay; we arranged our stay around availability at the brownstone. Having spend a long weekend there in the summer a year or so ago, we thought we would try it in the holiday season. What a...

This place was absolutely amazing - a perfect location for a sightseeing/shooping/Dining weekend in Boston. Dont forget to make a reservation in one of the great restaurants around the housing. A little disadvantage was that there was no real breakfast, but there was coffee, tea and fruits.

Stay: mid-Oct 2016. Great location; however, I was disappointed in the standard of bed & bathroom linen (cleanliness & level of wear), no breakfast, and hauling luggage up a narrow stairwell. There was no evidence sheets (1st night) had been laundered (many crinkles, no press marks, & they didn't smell fresh). On request, lovely, nicely pressed, fresh linen was provided...

It was a great experience staying in a brownstone! We were there for three nights, and never saw a single other living person! That might be good in many ways, but we wouldn't have minded a little human contact. However, we enjoyed everything about this lovely home except that we had believed it was a bed and breakfast. There were...

Beware: This is not a Bed and Breakfast and Don't Expect one. If you wand a granola bar and a piece fruit, this is the place to stay. Beware: If you want to walk up three flight and twisting, narrowed, spiraled stairways with luggage, this is the place to stay. You must be physically fit, not have a fear of...

We arrived before 4pm and were made to wait in the lounge with no welcome - only comment was we will email you when the room is ready. When it was we had to let them know which room we were having. Not a good start to our first visit to Boston. When room was ready not even show to...

Beautiful accommodations (classic details, ample space, luxurious shower) lovely neighborhood (residential with so many great cafes and restaurants nearby), and excellent, flexible service (hands-off for the most part, unless you want their involvement, in which case they are available by phone and highly responsive to their guests). I highly recommend!

This beautiful brownstone building in Union Park is a wonderful place to stay whilst visiting the city. It is really homey, very tastefully decorated, and I would happily recommend it to anyone wanting, as we do, somewhere to call home for a few days rather than an impersonal hotel room. We had a deluxe king room on the second floor,...

Perfectly placed in the most beautiful part of Boston, my stay here (for a work trip) was just lovely. The whole building and the rooms are beautiful and every need was catered for. The coffee machine in the bedroom was fantastic! I would recommend going out of your way, if you had to, to stay here.

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
