Beautiful hotel, perfectly located, couldn’t recommend more! So accommodating with our dog, with treats for her every time we walked into the hotel. Bikes to rent, amazing food, and a walkable distance to everything.
We had a spectacular time staying at the Whitney. The staff is wonderful and attentive, and I love how the hotel has an intimate boutique feel to it. When traveling, my family usually choose a king bed with a pullout sofa bed for our family of 4, and most of the time the sofa bed is less than comfortable, but at the Whitney, even the sofa bed is super comfy with a proper duvet (instead of just a thin blanket). The staff also surprised us with macaroons and teddy bear which my kids appreciated greatly. For reference, we stayed one other night at the loft suite in The Langham Boston, but we were somehow more wowed by the Whitney, even though we enjoyed The Langham too. We also had lunch at the restaurant and the food exceeded our expectation. The location is perfect at Beacon Hill with lots of interesting shops nearby, but the hotel itself is so comfortable, we barely left the room.…
Beautiful hotel. Luxurious, comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. I very much enjoyed staying here. Great location - close to the Charles Metro station, right beside the walking/cycling trail path along the river, a few minutes walk from the public gardens snd Boston common. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend a stay at the Whitney.
The best & closest hotel toMass General Hospital. Very concerned comforting staff. Safe, relaxed atmosphere . Cafe & parking helpful. Noise level could be an issue for some as it is a busy intersection.
My husband and I stayed at the Whitney for a quick getaway to Boston and it was one of our best trips ever. The location is ideal for enjoying the neighborhood, we were able to walk just about everywhere! The rooms are immaculately clean and truly luxurious with Frette sheets, comfortable beds, and lots of pillows. But what stands out the most for us is how well we were treated. Chris, James, and Jason each went out of their way to make sure our trip was special. Chris even reached out to the restaurant we were going to for dinner to make sure they made us feel special! Speaking of food...The Whitney excels there as well. Make sure you treat yourself to in room service for breakfast! We even ordered in one night and our food was brought up on a try with silverware and cloth napkins and dinner at the hotel's Peregrine was excellent. The entire staff is incredibly thoughtful and always available to help. We can't wait to go back!!…
We really enjoyed our stay here. Having arrived from the airport we were given a drink & quickly checked in. The team on reception were so friendly & efficient. The rooms were really comfy with lovely toiletries . It was really close to the start of the freedom trail & we enjoyed exploring Beacon Hill. We would stay here again .
We arrived 6 hours late in the early hours. Staff took our bags and escorted us with water to our room and couldn't have been more accommodating. Modern, friendly, I just can't speak highly enough of Kamil and his team. Keep up the great work. Brilliant stay and we will be back!!
My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. Kamil and Joyce went out of their way to make sure it was a memorable experience. They surprised us with a cake and balloons and giant lettering which spelled out "LOVE". Everyone was incredibly courteous and thoughtful. Between the location, the quality of service, and rooms, there is no better place to stay in Boston. We would recommend 10/10.
The Whitney is a charming hotel in beautiful Beacon Hill, Boston. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and we had a lovely time. The service was beyond. The staff is very warm and friendly. Kamil and Joyce tastefully decorated our room and made it feel extra special for our anniversary. The hotel has bikes you can sign-out - we took a ride down the Charles River and it was gorgeous. The hotel is also near many restaurants, stores, ice cream, etc. We walked to the Boston Commons multiple times over the weekend just to enjoy it. The restaurant connected to the hotel, Peregrine, was delicious. The Whitney is a great place to stay!!
We stayed here for 3 days as part of our 3 week holiday in the USA. The room was great and bed was really comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful and Joyce’s smiling face and ‘Welcome back’ after a day walking around Boston made us feel we were arriving home. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in.
