I had the pleasure of working with the Whitney Hotel for my 12/17/22 wedding. I cannot believe it has been almost a year and that I haven’t given this wonderful staff a glowing review. Since the moment I had decided to stay at the Whitney, each of the staff members could not have been more attentive, helpful and kind. Kimberly had everything set up for me the day that I had arrived and was quick to help with anything me, my friends or my family needed. Not only Kimberly, but each and everyone one of the Whitney staff was so incredibly helpful and wonderful. I am hoping to come back in a few weeks to relive all of the magic the Whitney provided me and my family on my wedding day and to celebrate my husband and I’s one year anniversary. We hope we will be able to come back to celebrate for many years to come. :)

Hotel's Favourite
We had a spectacular time staying at the Whitney. The staff is wonderful and attentive, and I love how the hotel has an intimate boutique feel to it. When traveling, my family usually choose a king bed with a pullout sofa bed for our family of 4, and most of the time the sofa bed is less than comfortable, but at the Whitney, even the sofa bed is super comfy with a proper duvet (instead of just a thin blanket). The staff also surprised us with macaroons and teddy bear which my kids appreciated greatly. For reference, we stayed one other night at the loft suite in The Langham Boston, but we were somehow more wowed by the Whitney, even though we enjoyed The Langham too. We also had lunch at the restaurant and the food exceeded our expectation. The location is perfect at Beacon Hill with lots of interesting shops nearby, but the hotel itself is so comfortable, we barely left the room.

Looking for an intimate, high-end boutique hotel with impeccable (yet warm and welcoming) service? Look no further! We LOVED our stay at The Whitney. Our rooms were sparkling (510 was huge and 520 a corner room with great views but smaller than 510), the bar, lounge/lobby, and restaurant were wonderful and the staff was some of the most professional but approachable that we have met. Many thanks to Carol, Joyce, and Rob who all made our stay memorable. We will be back. Much preferred over The Liberty across the street!

Great property and location. Interesting amenities. Good value value for Boston. Specious rooms, fever tree mini bar in hallway, well appointed bathroom. Top notch front desk reception. F&B does not meet hotel standards.

We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with every bit of our weekend stay at The Whitney. From the warm front-desk greeting, casual and comfortable lobby, immaculate room with comfy bed, view of the Charles River, friendly professional bartenders, and easy valet parking...to the cleverly placed ice bags for the room. Agnes (General Manager) introduced herself to us and we are happy to share that we had a most relaxing stay and look forward to a return trip!

When booking, be aware that the rooms are called "classic king rooms" but the beds are full size, queen size at best. The price for one night is very expensive, so I was quite disappointed. I'd recommend booking somewhere else in the area for a more comfortable sleep, especially if you are with a partner. The location of the hotel is conveniently located in Beacon Hill, but for the price I will be booking elsewhere in the area next time.

Whilst quite expensive, this hotel is absolutely impeccable in all respects. Staff are very helpful and the location is excellent. It is just across the road from a train station on the Red line that goes directly to Harvard as well as being on a lovely reasonably quiet street with great cafes, shops and restaurants. Near the river walk and quite close to Boston Common. Apples and chocolates freely available near the elevators are a nice touch. My room was lovely, very quiet and beautifully furnished with loads of storage space. The bathroom was very classy. Highly recommended.

The Whitney is a beautiful and convient place to stay when visiting Beacon Hill, Boston. It is close to sites and shopping. The historic streets are non-commercial and we really felt like we able to relax and see the area. The room was clean and large included everything we needed. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again when back in Boston.
