I stayed in The Brownstone for 5 nights. Reception by the owners was warm and kind. Although I had to climb all the way to the 4t floor, I still think it is a splendid place to stay, most certainly worth the money and I if ever returned to Boston, I will certainly go back here.

I was in Boston from September 5 - 10 to watch the Blue Jays and Red Sox play at Fenway and to do some sightseeing. I enjoyed my stay with Lihua and Victor very much. First we were located so close to Fenway Park, it was within easy walking distance which was nice coming home around 11pm. Second, our hosts...

It's a great location for those visiting Boston U or Fenway Park. Proprietors are friendly and helpful, although the continental breakfast is somewhat simple and nothing to rave about. The room was nice and the remodeled bathroom first class for a building of this age. I got the impression that most if not all of the rooms are on the...

I stayed here for 4 nights while moving my daughter into Boston University. I absolutely loved it! The hosts were wonderful caring people and they went out of there way to help us with anything we needed. I had a simple single room on the 4th floor. Be ready to climb those stairs!! (my host told me that every step...

I was in Boston from August 28 - Sept 5 2012. during my stay, I feel like at home, because of the warm welcome from the landlord, then actually the check in time was 4 PM, but we were allowed to enter our room from 11 AM due to an early check out from the previous guest. The apartment is...

Stayed there 4 nights from 8/29 thru 9/2. It was wonderful. Great location near Feway/Kenmore Square. Beautiful old building on nice tree-lined street, with a quiet neighborhood feel. Close to "T" (Kenmore Station). The room was spacious and well appointed with an en suite bathroom, hadwood floors, fireplace and AC. Bed was firm and furnishings were very nice. Breakfast every...

We had a wonderful time in Boston on August 4th through August 5th, 2012, thanks in large part to Victor’s wonderful B&B and to his suggestions about fun activities. We followed his advice to a ‘T’, as generally it takes us several days to get our bearings. We did not waste a single moment of precious vacation time in Boston...

Chose Abigayle's based on Trip Advisor reviews. Great location, gracious hosts, beautiful property! The rooms are large, very clean and charming. Breakfast was good. When we go back to Boston, we will certainly try to stay there again! The hosts gave us great tips on where to go in town. Everything is easily accessible by subway--which is only a block...

We recently stayed at Abigayle's for 3 nights when visiting Boston while holidaying in Northeast USA. We chose it partly based on the Trip Advisor reviews and also for the location....which is really convenient to the train, walking distance to most things, there was even a laundromat close by. The street where it is located is lovely and the house...

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.

This charming brownstone, built in 1896, is set on a quiet, tree- lined street adjacent to Kenmore Square and the Charles River, and very near Boston University and Fenway Park. The property has been lovingly maintained as a private residence for two generations, and all original architectural details have been preserved. The home boasts modern amenities with old world Victorian charm, and its guest rooms come with: queen bed with a single foam sleep sofa (for a small child), or twin beds that can be made into a king bed with a single foam sleep sofa (for a small child), and private attached baths. There is also a single room with a private bath in the hall. All rooms have TVs, private phone lines, desks, and A/C, and are on either the 3rd or 4th floor. The B&B's popular breakfast is self-serve continental in the dining room. There is limited parking on site plus public parking lot half a block away. The green line subway is just steps from the house. ... more   less
