Personal reception from each and every person on staff. Beautiful facility. Close to TD. Clean. Beautiful location on water. Helpful kind staff. Clean, modern room. Lots of outlets in rooms. Loved bathroom and showers in particular.

Nice hotel, great location around good restaurants in the North End. Easy to walk to everything. Girl at the reception desk even showed me to my room which was a nice touch. I was really happy with my stay. Next time I just hope to not be on the first floor.

My husband and I (celebrating our anniversary) did not enjoy our recent stay at the Fairmont Battery Wharf: Cons: — Arrived at check-in at 2 p.m., told room not ready. Walked to North End, quite hot, 95 degrees. Returned at 4:30, again told room not ready. — When I said we really needed to freshen up, clerk said another room...

I really liked this hotel mostly because I had a wonderful room, with a balcony and a lovely view. The bed was super duper huge and comfy and I had all the wonderful treats in the room, slippers, robe, great products, wonderful service, all very clean. However, my friend was in the room next to me, no comparison, his room...

This hotel has it all. Beautiful new hotel, great rooms with high end bathroom, On the water, steps from North end. However, no need to leave, great bar scene complete with firepits on the patio for roasting smores. And a jazz band fri/sat night. We came here for one night splurge for our anniversary, and it was perfect.

2nd visit to this hotel, arrived after long journey from the west coast late on a Saturday night to be told by the night reception manager that the room wasn't paid for and unless I paid via credit card I would not be allowed to check in. Luckily I had the payment confirmation with me that described the payment being...

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
