My son and I booked a double double room for 5 nights and were disappointed to be given a dark room where the window looked out onto a wall a metre away. The service was good, the staff helpful and we only used the room as a base for the night but make sure you ask for a room WITH a view! The breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and there was plentiful complimentary tea, coffee and bottles of water available.
Thank you Nick for extending our late check out and letting our car being Parked for the same reason in front of the hotel. Bless you Nick for your kindness. We really appreciated you very much. Our stay was fantastic. Nice room with a balcony and a fire place. The lobby was very inviting. Internet was working very well. It is a very clean hotel at a perfect location! Extra water is free in the lobby to collect.
4 Star Hotel??? How do these ratings come to be? Make sure you ask for a room on the Faneuil Hall side. Otherwise, you get to look over a lot full of trash. That’s not all…come early evening you get to watch user after user sneak into the lot and use their product of choice as well as rats the size of opossums scamper about. They do have free waters in a cooler behind the front desk which is nice 🙃
Excellent location in North End by Italian restaurants and Freedom trail locations. Nice size room with a good view. Comfortable bed. Overall great experience. Only issue was the valet was slow. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Boston.
Location of this hotel is great. Everything eles about this hotel fell short, very short. The staff has no interest in you as their guess at all. The hotel needed to be renavated years ago. Our shower was full of mold and the shower doors was not secured properly.
Location to North End was greatly appreciated. Hotel staff were polite and friendly. Rooms were large, but slightly out dated. Everything in historical Boston is in walking distance. My husband enjoyed the historical bars/seafood restaurants along with the abundance of the North End. Free Cold water bottles were always available in the lobby.
This is not my first time at the Bostonian. It doesn’t disappoint, great location clean, quite, great staff. Close to the airport. The hotel restaurant is excellent, offers extensive hours for room service as well
Great hotel overlooking Fanuel Hall and a few blocks walk to great restaurants in the North End. Easy walk to 3 major train lines. My room had a nice cozy fireplace that would be a nice touch in colder months. The layout is a little unconventional, as it appears to have been expanded over the years, For the price, it was definitely a good deal.
The best location. Stayed 2 nights, walked theough all what we wanted to see. Price very reasonable. Rooms clean!, they provided unlimited bottled waters. I had nothing to complain. Staff very friendly.
This hotel is in a perfect location in downtown Boston to walk to most sights. It’s across the street from Quincy Market and close to the waterfront. That’s about all it has going for it however. The hotel is in serious need of refurbishment. The staff was indifferent and poorly trained for such an expensive hotel. We were given a free upgrade but the wallpaper was peeling off and there were burns in the carpet. The room was actually a meeting room with adjoining bedroom on the second floor.
