I have always enjoyed staying at the Langham in Boston but the most recent trip was disappointing. Check in was slow. The heating and insulation in my room was poor so it was cold. Breakfast in Cafe Fleuri was only ok - strangely solid scrambled eggs shaped in an oval shape are not to be recommended! Finally, a request for...

A nice hotel and great staff, but central location and short building means views are subpar to nonexistent (office space and apartments below 12 stories in this area go for quite a discount--and this alone means this hotel is not up to its price point in quality). Many rooms face directly into the indoor pool--when I pay full price for...

I stayed 2 nights last week at the Langham. I had a room directly in front of the elevators and yet was not disturbed by any noise. That is a rare quality in any hotel. The room was spacious and had high quality furniture. The beds are not the quality of the Starwood chain, but they are comfortable. The location...

I stayed at the Langham Boston for a work business trip. It is an older hotel, historic, but very nice, the rooms are in excellent condition. I was very impressed throughout my stay with the politeness and professionalism of the staff. They were aways willing to accommodate any requests it seemed. The hotel even had robes and slippers in the...

Very smart hotel in the financial district of Boston. Room was good as was breakfast in Café Fleuri. Room service meals also good. We were there for an extra 2 nights through the snow storm of late January as Logan airport was closed, the hotel were very accommodating in difficult conditions

The perfect place to stay in downtown Boston. Beautiful hotel with excellent indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and work out area. Staff is wonderful. Is within walking distance of the North End restaurants. Also includes the Bond Restaurant and Lounge within the historic building.

I am always so impressed with this Langham hotel. The attention to detail is significant, and the luxurious little touches-- from the substantial linens (big, thick bath towels, wonderful quality soft sheets, excellent pillows, terry cloth robes and slippers), to the full size Chuan bath products, beautiful furnishings and lamps, nightlights, coffee/tea maker, etc. All the branding is very classy...

If by any chance, you have to change your plans, this hotel is very inflexible. My deadline to use my credit balance was February 2015, during the state's 3rd in a row blizzard and state of emergency. I believe the only people needing to go to Boston this month are myself and the National Guard. When asked if I could...

I cannot say enough good things about the Langham in Boston. The location is within minutes of South Station which is so convenient for travel. The food served for room service was reasonably priced and was so tasty and high quality. The staff, specifically the front desk agent, Suzy, were kind, welcoming and helpful. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
