Wow - possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed in! This hotel is sensational. It was apparently an old bank and had a serious renovation a few years ago. They have done such an amazing job in preserving history and enhancing the hotel experience. The rooms are incredible and have such a feeling of space because of the high ceilings. The breakfast in Grana is not to be missed. Awesome food and service. Staff were exceptional and very helpful. A special thanks to Maive and Sean at concierge desk as nothing was too much trouble for them and they really made us feel at home. The hotel was spectacularly decorated for Christmas and very photo worthy. There is nothing we can criticize and it was an accommodation highlight in our 6 week USA roadtrip. We LOVED Boston.

Top to bottom excellent. Good location downtown. Easy access to airport, north end, seaport, common, faniel hall etc Service (highlight of our trip), room (the espresso machine is awesome), food (restaurant and in-room), bar (the best-craft cocktails!), restaurant. Everything!

Thank you so much for this unforgettable stay. We adore our room who was extremely comfy , cozy and well decorated ! It was just so perfect. The staff and service is top tier, you can request special pillows which was very much appreciated ! The pool and sauna area is pretty and felt super relaxing. Thank you to Jocelyn for accommodating us with a late check out and to Taylor at the front desk who was very friendly and who helped us with the luggage.

I’ve stayed at most of the other 5 star hotels in Boston and this is the best. Location is perfect. Rooms are luxurious and recently renovated. Hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays—highly recommend traveling here during the holidays.

We had a less than perfect experience at The Langham Boston. It is a beautiful facility and known for amazing service. Unfortunately they fell short of delivering during this visit. I have stayed prior and the experience was top notch, but the quality of service has certainly fallen.

Not a 5 star experience. The good: Nice room decor, size, clean, comfortable. Friendly staff on the front desk. Good location. Service was quick. Great cocktails. Diptyque toiletries. The bad: Room service food was bland on flavour, tepid temperature, and portion sizes were too small for what we paid (and we’re European!). My brother actually went hungry despite paying $40 for a spaghetti bolognese. Meanwhile the minibar was completely empty, and there was no complimentary fruit or snacks, just water. They charged a room service delivery fee PLUS 18.5% service, which is just outrageous. On demand films are $20+tax despite being available on our own streaming platforms. Chromecast mentioned but not available. And to top it off, we asked concierge to book us a taxi to the airport and they sounded confused and said “uh, I guess I can book you an Uber?” Baffling. No little touches that make it feel special to be here or luxurious. Real 5 star goes the extra mile on care and consideration as part of the experience. The Langham Boston struggled to deliver even the bare minimum. This experience felt more like a nicely appointed but basic hotel. Would not return. Everything seems designed to exploit people willing to spend extra money for a nice experience, as if we wouldn’t notice or care the extra costs. Trust me, we notice.

We wanted to heat up leftovers at 12:30am, as one does. We asked the front desk and their solution was to hand deliver a microwave to our room. There was zero judgment during this process 12/10 recommend this hotel. Great service. Great amenities.

Outside of the rude manager in the Langham club, the hotel was lovely. I just can’t get past how rude he was to my wife and the assistant managers lack of empathy or understanding of the incident. The hotel needs better staff and it could be great.
