I've traveled for work for 10 years (before covid). I' retired now and I only travel now for myself because I'm partially handicapped. I now travel all over the USA as well as internationally. I'm not a fan of big chain hotels and usually stay at a boutique hotel. I needed to be in Boston to attend something medically for myself. I looked around and I picked this hotel at random. WOW WOW WOW - what a GREAT hotel! Their customer service is amazing! I took an uber from the train station to the hotel. Before I could get out of the car ALL of my luggage was waiting for me at the front desk. As I was being checked in, my luggage was on its way to my room. Peter the head doorman has a GREAT attitude and runs a tight ship. All of the doormen are really courteous and helpful and they ALL do it with a smile! I can also say the same for every front desk or basically ANY employee of this place. The ONLY problem I had was with "City Bar". We were standing at the bar, waiting for over 20 minutes for the bartender to even see us. He NEVER did! So we walked out. It was a Monday night, so the place wasn't crowded. I'm not sure what happened here because clearly the rest of the employees of Lenox Hotel are all attentive and do it all with a smile. Maybe mr. bartender needs a refresher course. I'm currently still at this hotel. I didn't want to wait to get home to write this review. I wish I could give this hotel more stars but I refuse to take any stars away because of mr. bad bartender. If you're coming to Boston and want a GREAT this is the place to stay!!!!!

We stayed in a superior kingsize room at The Lenox hotel last week. It was in a great location in the Back Bay Area. The room was smallish, in 11th floor and with a large comfortable bed and slightly tired bathroom. The air conditioner was extremely noisy and inefficient and even with ear plugs affected my sleep. The reception area, the bar and the restaurant were all nice and contemporary in style, the breakfast which was not included was fair enough. Overall a nice stay if not particularly value for money.

This hotel does not disappoint. It is in the very heart of Boston, near Berklee College of Music and the Boston Public Library and Copley Square. The service is impeccable and the rooms very comfortable. There is a Lindt chocolate store just outside the main entrance and parks are within walking distance. The City Table restaurant inside the hotel is very good and there is also a bar on the premises. Free coffee and tea in the morning along with the Boston Globe paper and fruit. This place is not cheap but is worth every penny. Can't wait to go again.

After another excellent stay, The Lenox is officially our new favorite hotel in Boston. The entire staff is fantastic - everyone is friendly, welcoming, and helpful; and the rooms are comfortable and spacious - with beautiful views of Boylston street. As mentioned in my previous review, it’s really about location for us, and the Lenox is truly situated in the perfect part of Backbay. Shopping and loads of restaurants right outside the hotel, a 5-minute walk to the stunning Public Gardens, a 20-minute walk to Fenway, a 10-minute Lyft ride to the Seaport District - the location really can’t be beat.

Amazing hotel, loved the friendly welcome/goodbye everyday and the chilled atmosphere. We had a room for the 5 of us (three small kids) which was just perfect, food in the restaurants was great and staff were friendly at all times. Great location, way access to all major sights

I love The Lenox! Just had a quick stay at the hotel and such a great experience. The staff couldn't be more friendly, attentive and over the top helpful. My room was in great condition, extremely clean and comfortable. The Lenox is in the heart of the back bay and has great restaurants on site and City Bar is an incredibly intimate bar/ lounge that is very comfortable. If you stay at the Lenox, you will have a great experience and the location puts you in the heart of the Back Bay on Boylston Street and allows you to explore the city walking all around back bay, newbury street, public gardens, Boston Common....etc etc. The Lenox is a treat!

I truly enjoyed my stay and can't wait to return. There are so few hotels offering such flawless service these days, and the building is an immaculately maintained historic landmark. It is truly opulent, and they have thought of every possible touch. Loved finding good coffee service right by the elevators in the lobby every morning. The lobby, the restaurant and bar are all beautiful and top-notch. A great selection of locals goods for sale in the lobby as well (found a perfect gift there to bring home.) The location is convenient to all Back Bay shops and restaurants. I walked to Chinatown in under 20 minutes as well.

Wow! Just got back from a quick stay at the Lenox. It was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Every staff member that we encountered from valet parking, baggage assistance, front desk and cleaning was courteous and eager to assist. For example, a cleaning woman saw my hands were full with a pitcher of filtered water and ice bucket from one of the convenient water stations and rushed over to assist me with opening my room door. And, a very pleasant Nick was so helpful with our bags and happily stored them for us while we did some extra shopping after checkout. Our room, which was ready for us well ahead of check-in, was an upgraded double queen with a fireplace which could be lit in the evening upon request. The room was meticulously clean, bed and pillows very comfortable and the air conditioning was very quiet. The shower had plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. We enjoyed a room service breakfast and it was very hot when it arrived and very tasty. We forgot to order an orange juice and the gentleman that brought our food heard us mention this and literally ran back with one for us. Finally the lactation in Boston is perfect, especially if you are looking to do some shopping. Newbury Street is steps away with so many shops and restaurants. I will absolutely stay at the Lenox again. I had always stayed at the Westin on Copley but the service and experience was far superior and more personal at the Lenox.

It has Old World charm and the location can't be beat! It is across the street from the Public Library, which is well worth an hour or so of you time, ad close to public transport. Ask for an upper floor room for the best view. I will definitely stay here when I am in Boston again.
