I've stayed at other MOs, but the service here is exceptional to all of them. The staff treated me and my little son like we were the only guests there. Everyone request was made timely and perfectly. This is truly Boston's best 5-star hotel by far. The location and food venues are incomparable.

Lets cut to the chase right away: this could be a Westin, Sheraton or any other top-of-the-line US hotel chain property, but it does not exude the luxury feel and provide the pampering you get from a MO property anywhere in Asia (or in Europe). Conveniently located next to an up-scale mall and still within walking distance to Boston Commons...

Over the years I have stayed in most of the higher end hotels in Boston. The Mandarin just became my new preferred place to stay. The location is great. If you need to get to the financial district either hop in a cab for 5-10 ride or walk to the T station in Copley Square. When weather permits it is...

From the doormen to the concierge, the people of this hotel are friendly and extremely willing to please. From our hot cup of tea served in our room the moment we arrived, I knew we had chosen the right hotel. The room was very spacious. Servicing the room was a top priority. WE loved the location which was surrounded by...

From check-in to check-out we had excellent service. Probably one of the best hotel beds and pillows I've ever slept on. I like that they have a separate tub and rain shower. Great location just a couple blocks from Back Bay T station and many shops in the area.

Fabulous hotel. Lovely rooms. Great food. Spa is the best in the city!! Rooms are very spacious and bathrooms are very modern. Staff warm and welcoming as well. Location is the best as you can walk outside to many shops and restaurants or stay indoors to go to the Prudential indoor mall without going outside!!!

Good size rooms and bathrooms with both bath and shower. Elegant and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Decent menu for in-room dining, breakfast served a la carte, not a buffet. Very nice lobby area with fire-place. Great location, very central. Just opposite Apple Store and adjacent to a shopping centre (direct access from the hotel). Quite a few hairdressing...

This is our second visit and there has been a HUGE HUGE improvement. The last time we stayed the rooms were wonderful but service was off. I dined at Bar Boulud in the hotel and left a cardigan behind. I had to leave Boston the following morning and was unable to retrieve it. Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
