It was my first stay at this hotel; I usually stay at the Marriott Copley square when I come to the area. The Marriott is nicer (better bathrooms, better gym, and more seating area in the lobby), but the rooms here were spacious and modern. I loved that the room had a window that could be opened. What really made the hotel was the service. Front desk was great, restaurant staff was friendly, and housekeeping actually cleaned every day, not just restocked as seems to be the norm since Covid, even in higher-end hotels. Location was good, I don’t think it was attached to The Prudential Center, but if you cross the street to the Sheraton, you that is.

Hotel's Favourite
This was our second visit to this hotel, however, this visit was special. My youngest son, loves this hotel and requested we come back on his birthday. He turned six (6) year on the day we checked in and the front desk provided exceptional service. The young man (lost his name) was attentive, professional and most importantly acknowledged my six year old. He was over the moon and requested that we come back again. We will because my oldest may be attending Berklee next year.

We took a group of 35 teen age girls to Boston and ate every morning in the Hilton Hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet was very good, varied options and very tasty, and the wait staff was wonderful, attentive and so accommodating to our big group. I would 100% recommend the Hilton

Modern decor and amenities, located within walking distance of several colleges and lots of restaurants, the Boston symphony orchestra and the prudential center. There is a small restaurant within the hotel called Forty Dalton - we ate there for breakfast and it was pretty good (better than most hotel breakfasts). Room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit cheaply updated, which is why I gave a 4. Not a five star hotel but it as great for what we needed and I would go back.

I would give Hilton Boston Bay a 10/10. Prior to check-in I called the hotel and spoke with the most pleasant customer service agent. Upon arrival, the staff was warm and welcoming. Sean, Stephany and entire front desk staff deserve recognition. They are all amazing! I had the privilege of being there on the evenings that Sean worked and each evening he greeted my daughter and me with a warm welcome and smile. The rooms were nice and clean with nice comfortable beds. The two restaurants were convenient for breakfast and dinner. You have to try the homemade chips at the lobby bar. The hotel is conveniently located next to all of the shopping, restaurants and other locations such as nail salon and drug store. We discovered that by crossing the street and walking through the neighboring hotel we could get to all of the shopping without having to walk in the cold. This Hilton location will definitely be my go to when I visit Boston.

We had alot of issues with our hotel stay (that were beyond frustrating). One thing that helped make our stay better was Pedro. He went above and beyond … willing to help with kindness and concern and with a smile. The world needs more people like him!

We almost always use Hilton when traveling and this hotel was one of the nicest of the Hilton's we've visited. The hotel, the service, our room, and the location were perfect One significant complaint about Hilton Back Bay Boston was that we like to keep up with political news, and the hotel's cable TV only provided FOX (trump propaganda) and no access to MSNBC or CNN. We haven't encountered this before on any other trips but looking on Google, we see that it's not the only Hilton to block access to MSNBC and CNN but to provide FOX (fake news) instead.

The Hilton Back Bay is convenient to Copley Square and a twenty minute walk to the Museum of Fine Arts and the Gardner Museum. The building itself is new -- quiet ventilation, large rooms, and a great front desk and housekeeping staff. The breakfast situation is not that much different from hotels much lower on the Hilton food chain, but you will pay dearly for it -- figure 60% extra on to your room charge. Even with the $18 pp "allowance" for Hilton members, you'll have to figure 30% add ons. That said, if you want the comfort, convenience, and a very helpful front desk and housekeeping staff, you might consider staying here.

This place charges you a $100/a night in incidental charges (we were booked for 5 nights), fully pre-paid through booking.com which they treat like a 2nd class citizen and that important detail was missing from the booking website when I booked in November 2023. They will put a hold of $500 (if you go for 5 nights) and this will be released back to you 3-5 business days upon leaving. Not when you need that money and were saving up for the trip. The staff and manager did not care that their first impression left a lasting negative impression. We left in one night having to re-route our schedule via Greyhound. I do not recommend this hotel the room is dark with dim lighting, and the room is freezing so be prepared to run to the bathroom during the night. They also charge you an $25.00 urban fee. If they could charge you for the air you breathe in their vicinity, they would. I call this place the honey trap, looks good online but chock full of hidden high fees at every turn as soon as you walk in the door. Never returning and highly recommend you avoid.

Stunned at the lack of service. Went away for a weekend with my wife for our anniversary. From check in to handling of the heat in the room, every person had an indifference and attitude like I was bothering them. I had to leave a day early due to pending Nor’easter so stayed two nights . When I said I had to leave a day early due to flight concerns due to an appointment I could not miss on Monday. The hotel said too bad, you used points, then when I called the diamond desk, Ramon said too bad, don’t use points next time. As a 22 year diamond member. I am switching to Marriott starting January 1. If you have to stay at a Hilton property in Boston, don’t make it this one. Oh by the way, the heat issue. No AC after October, I can have a fan if I want one. Would have been nice to know at check in and the first time I complained!!
