Staff is always friendly and courteous. Love the location. Close to BU. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking in the ramp. The digital key and check in/out with the app is great. My go to place in Boston.
We stayed here to move our daughter into Northeastern. We really liked it and will plan to stay when we’re in town again. The room (1124) was clean and renovated. We had a River view room which was pretty nice. We saw people rowing boats back and forth and just typical city life as well. The room had a separate bedroom and then a living room with a sofa and a Murphy Bed, which they call an Urban bed. The urban bed was surprisingly comfortable. The room was spacious enough for myself, my husband and our daughter. There was a small kitchenette area as well with a small fridge and microwave. The Hvac is very easy to control. I love the ability to pick a specific room in the app and well as to check in and get a mobile key through the app. When we arrived we walked right up to our room without stopping at the front desk. I suggest picking a room away from the elevators if you’re a Light sleeper and plan to sleep in the living room area. We visited the Restaurant in the hotel and everything we had (food and drinks) was really good. They also have a rooftop bar but we couldn’t go when we were there because it was raining. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back!…
Due to the nature of our stay it was important to book a full service hotel. We learned that during the week only dinner would be served in one of their restaurants. The breakfast is microwave options sold in the lobby store which is meant for guests to take back to their room. Although I could smell the breakfast I could not see it so I asked the manager Derek for assistance, he simply pointed and said "its over there." All without making eye contact or leaving the desk. The service is way below the standard of this hotel. Must be under new management. The front desk staff are professional but you can tell they are afraid to let their personalities show...likely due to the atmosphere created by management. They do serve breakfast in the Boathouse restaurant Thurs-Sun. No room service. I stayed at this hotel for many many times and it seem desolate from my experience from years past. Housekeeping staff were very responsive. There is Wholefoods and dunkin donuts about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Wholefoods has free parking and also sells hot items.…
Tyson & Pierre we’re great! Very helpful. Helped us decide what to do for night! They knew the city well. Overall very friendly staff. Highly recommend! Nice jazz club within the hotel. Clean environment. Will consider staying here next time!
Great location overlooking the Charles River and only minutes from downtown Boston and airport. Restaurant staff was most friendly and accommodating and everything was nicely updated and beautiful. We took advantage of the restaurants and pool/hot tub and enjoyed it all. The only negative I can give is the parking fees of $47/per day, which seem a little extreme on top of paying for a room. Other than that, totally recommend this hotel to complete your stay in Boston.
