Each year for our birthdays, my husband and I escape to Boston for a few days. We usually stay at another location, but decided to give the Copley Square Hotel a try on a sale we saw on their website. The hotel is nicely decorated and the layout is unique. Rooms are nice, clean, (we had deluxe king room), and...

We stayed at the Copley from December 6 – 9th, and it was, in all ways, a great stay. I had e-mailed ahead of time to ask them if they would do luggage storage as we were flying in early and flying out late, and they replied from the general e-mail address very quickly. Upon arrival at the hotel, it...

I recently attended a conference 200 meters from this hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, The hotel offers free wifi, hot chocolate and if you run in the morning a little area with water and things, nice touch. The hotel is older so the rooms are smaller, but with good character, clean and provide a warm feeling....

Centrally located in Copley Square, this updated and trendy hotel gives you more than you expect. The customer service was amazing and the rooms were much larger and much more elegantly appointed than I had expected. There was a gym on the second floor and complimentary coffee in the lobby every morning and wine tasting every night. The Mini-Bar, the...

We chose this hotel because of the location and reviews. My daughter and I were on a mini-vacation and wanted to be in a central location. The hotel was excellent in every way - location, customer service, amenities (especially the daily wine social at 5 pm), restaurant, turn-down service, etc. Although it is in an older building, the hotel has...

One of my fondest memories of Boston was to stay in the Copley Square Hotel. The year was actually 1981. not 2013, but I'll never forget my lovely experience. The rooms were quaint and old and I couldn't help but wonder what famous person might have slept in my room before?

We chose this hotel because of the location - near the train station as we planned to go to New York next by train. So the location turned out superb. Everything you need is near - shops, restaurants, mall, grocery store. We really liked dinning out in the neighborhood of Newbury Street or running in the Public Garden via Commonwealth...

The location of the hotel is in the shopping district (Prudential Center) near Copley Square and the Public Library. We were a bit disappointed in the rooms (very small not a lot of room to navigate). The decor is dark and not a lot of lighting. Beds could be more comfortable. The staff, while pleasant, was not well trained. We...

I've stayed in the Boston area man times but this was my first stay at this hotel - It wont be the last ! It's nice not to feel like you are NOT in a big chain and even better to see service delivered by staff that really care (not just giving the false "have a nice day sir"...). This...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
